Friendly staff. Nice big pizza filled the box and it was ready right when they estimated it would be. It was pretty tasty, hot and fresh. I have not been here in years just because there’s lots of other options in town. I will have to stop in again soon and try one of their fancier pies!

I never write reviews, but just had an unfortunate experience with the owner on the phone. I have a son with food allergies and this is the only take-out pizza he has ever been able to eat in his life. I make everything from scratch for him. It is a real treat for our family to be able to get pizza from here. This morning, I spoke to the owner about placing an order. I am always very careful to articulate and double check the order, with my son’s allergies. The owner told me at first that he would prefer not to serve us. I was confused, since we ordered a pizza for my son, without issue, last month. I was clearly irritating the owner during the conversation and apologized, to which he responded that I was driving him crazy and being annoying. I was so floored. I cried (so stupid, yes I know) because this had been so important to our son, and told him that we would never be ordering from him again -such a horrible way to treat people, and especially a mother who is ordering for her son’s needs. This is such a shame on so many levels. We were patrons long before we had a son with food allergies ( age 8) and had always recommended this place to others. Never again.

Stopped during a road trip from Boston to VT, and it was the right decision. The pizza is outstanding – the dough, the red sauce, brick oven – and the service was friendly and helpful. We were in a hurry, and they were no longer serving by the slice. So they offered to expedite our pizza so that we wouldn’t wait too long on our detour. Thanks!

I used to like this joint, but the quality and quantity of their pizza had suffered over the past few years. Just got a large buffalo chicken (spicy fingers) and I saw more crust than pizza, sauce or toppings. To boot, the crust was severely burnt. For a pizza over 20 dollars, is a bit of a key down now.

They had at least five people behind the counter multiple people waiting for their food and The Brick Oven only had one pizza cooking? I’ve seen better efficiency with two people at a regular pizzeria place. Never going back

In my opinion one of the best places in Gardner for pizza. Have not tried any of the other menu options, I’m sure they are fantastic. I can only assume the gentleman that always greets me is the owner or manager. Very nice person, always a pleasure to visit this establishment.
