Food was really good. The server was friendly. It took an extremely long time to be able to leave because every time the waitress was at the counter and not busy we tried to get her attention, but she would not look our way. We finally went up to the counter to ask to pay and another customer came up to pay as well.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PLACE IN IOWA!!!!!!! The food is so flavorful and cooked to perfection!!!!! They have this Guinea Grinder burrito that puts all other grinders to SHAME!!!!!! (EVEN STATE FAIR GRINDERS). The staff is so friendly and make you feel at home when you are there!! There’s a lady named Barb there and she’s absolutely amazing and puts love and kindness in to everything she does!!!!!! This place will become a favorite for you and your family!!!! If you want amazing food and great portions all at an awesome price, then this is your place !!!!!!!!!

Great brunch spot. Family owned restaurant with good service and reasonable price. All day breakfast during the weekends! Heard great reviews about their Tuesday and Thursday specials too.

The food is good when its correct. The service is bad. We went when it wasn’t busy, there were actually empty tables.

Not really! I gave them a 3 star because they’re no 2-1/2 option. We went for lunch, I had the Turkey club and onion rings, my wife had the Taco salad. It was just an average sandwich (it could have been a little warmer)… the onion rings were good. The Taco salad meat could have use more seasoning, but ok. Expect to wait for your food, we waited for over 30 minutes it seems this is normal for this place. They have loyal customers as you could tell by the much older folks here. Overall… there are definitely better places than this one in town, but if you don’t mind waiting and average food, good luck

Had Sunday breakfast here. The restaurant smelled like grease, the food took 40 min to arrive and the quality was not good. Tasted like it had all been microwaved and was greasy. People were nice though.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. Weekend is breakfast menu only, but our meals were excellent. Beth got a steak and egg burrito and I got the chicken fried steak. Coffee was diner style, so it could be a little more bold.

We went for breakfast on a cold rainy day in Iowa. I enjoyed two delicious cups of coffee ☕ with my Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. Crispy and delicious CFS topped with country gravy with 2 eggs scrambled, hash browns and substitutes the biscuit for wheat toast w/butter and I topped with Apple Jelly. I couldn’t finish it so I ate the rest for breakfast the next day. He ordered a double order of Eggs Benedict and gosh it was good as well. It was an English muffin topped with ham, the poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce with a side of hash browns. He didn’t finish either but devoured the rest later that evening. The place was very clean (even the restroom). It’s not a very big place but can accommodate quite a few people. They have tables and booths. They also sell jellies, jams, honey, and what not. We purchased cream honey…it’s yummy. Definitely would recommend.

I had a breakfast here with an amazing blueberry pump cake, I choose for the double size, but at the end I have to say that was too big!

Crab cake Benedict was excellent. Price was not bad at all. Visited on a Sunday morning. Had to request menus after being seated, was told to wait for my server to bring them … ?!?. Our server was nice, beverages were refilled often. Will definitely return soon, just not on a Sunday morning.
