What a staff, and what a special dinner and dessert experience!! I (wife) took my 16yr old daughter to the Kalahari Resort for a conference, hoping to have a memorable outing while there to mark this as a special time. Our time at Sortino’s did not disappoint in any way. Our server Kristina (assisted by Trevor) treated us like family as she was so genuinely invested in us, offering guidance on the menu as well as attentive service. Our appetizers and two entrees were delicious, leaving us no room for the desserts Kristina recommended. However, at her suggestion, we did return a couple of hours later to enjoy the tiramisu and cannoli in the red leather parlor lounge area. Dora, the manager, visited with us and we realized then that this incredible service is a standard that is exemplified first by management and continues on to reflect consistently through the staff. We are already looking forward to returning!

The food was amazing. The pizza is awesome. Got room service while staying at Kalahari Resort in Texas, and wow! We were very pleased. The pizza was the best we have had in a long time, esp from a hotel! It is pricey, but it is part of the resort sp that was expected

Friendly staff, my pizza slice and drink was about 12 dollars, great price for a resort. The pizza slices are very large, likely the size of 2 or 3 regular slices. I received the wrong type of pizza, but it was still delicious. They are card only.

I had pizza here one night but they throw it in the oven again and it burns all the edges black – so I thought I’d try the Chicken Parmesan. They say it’s “breaded” but it’s just a ton of chicken. So all you taste is the bare white meat chicken as it overpowers the sauce and the cheese. I couldn’t even finish it. And of course it cost $12.

We hadn’t eaten most of the afternoon, and had stayed at the Waterpark and arcade until it closed and being that it was close to midnight nothing was open. I walked in about 13mins before closing and was still greeted by smiling faces. Ordered our food to go and was on our way shortly after.

Salad was just okay, beer selection was good but not a lot of options, pizza was good (could have been cooked more, crispier), chicken parmesan sandwich was reported to be really good, but the service was great. Not a bad option when the main Sortino’s is busy.

Service was not great, line took forever, every other person had something wrong with their order and had to go get it fixed, causing the line to take even longer. The prices are ridiculous as well. No thanks. The workers were fairly nice, but nothing extra. And the chicken ceaser wrap was good, but not enough food for the price.

I’m staying at Kalahari where you can order Sortino’s pizza to your room till 11 pm. They wouldn’t answer the phone when I called the number directed from the room phone. Then no answer using room service or pizza button on the hotel room phone. Finally talked to guest services who tried contacting them, and they couldn’t reach Sortino’s. They told me I have to go down to the restaurant.

My wife and I have tried pizza at several places, and so far, this is the best pizza by far. We like cheese on our pizza, and they have the cheese, as well other great ingredients. Check it out, if you haven’t already.
