I don’t know where these people are from but you ain’t from the south with dry, tasteless cornbread. Dry tasteless red beans and rice. Banana pudding that is instant pudding with 3-4 wafers. The catfish wasn’t bad and saved my stomach from tasteless food and Mac and cheese was okay. Oh yeah yams plantains not bad actually were good. You have no idea what soul means. I wish I could have rated you better but I can not.

The mac N cheese had burnt pieces of cheese in and on top, NO seasoning. The chicken has no taste, no salt and just nasty. On the peach cobbler there is not one spice, you can’t see the cinnamon or nutmeg and the crust is thick enough to choke a horse. The black pieced in the mac and cheese are burnt cheese. The Just wrong, all wrong.

The catfish tasted unclean and unseasoned. Couldn’t even finish the sorry excuse for gumbo no sassuge very salty gravy like mixture on top. Lemon pepper wings tasted like something was off in the texture Wingstop is a better option. Spent 100$ purchase very disappointed

The fry was good but there wasn’t much fish inside and it was mushy. Decent red beans and the cake lacked flavor. It was difficult to pickup the food.

I took my son here to get food to eat while waiting to board plane, he placed order.We called to see how long it would take and was told 20-25 min so he decided to cancel order, female on phone with horrible customer service said we have to call Grub Hub to cancel so we did. Soul marked the food as cooked so he couldn’t get his money back. We were both visiting Seattle for the first time and found this place online. We called Soul and the same unprofessional worker pretended we never called and she never told us to call Grub Hub the calls were only 10 minutes apart than said he was suppose to come in and cancel plus a bunch of other nonsense. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Worker wanted to eat food herself!!!!!

Great food! Crispy Catfish, tasty hush puppies, savory beans and rice, and the best red velvet cake I’ve had in a while! Nice portions, I had leftovers in pic after me and my wife ate until full! Awesome customer service as well; they have definitely earned my ongoing business as this was my first time having their delicious food. Keep up the good work!

I had the catfish, greens, and mac-n-cheese, and some hush puppies. It all tasted wonderful. I would give it 5 stars but there is always room for improvement. Dont get me wrong the catfish was good but it was just a tiny bit bland. My only complaint. But it still tastes great, also hot sauce is a thing.
