This food was absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the fried chicken (spices were amazing)10/10, French Fries (well seasoned) 9/10, Mac and Cheese (very flavorful) 9/10, and the rice and gravy (could use more favor, take some from the chicken) 7/10. I ordered the fried catfish (again slices were amazing) 10/10, greens (wow) 10/10, cabbage (delicious) 9/10. Overall a great experience here. Unfortunately they had already sold out of Ox Tail for the day, next time.

The food smells and tastes amazing, but I was charged for a 3 meat plate instead of the 2 meat plate that we got, and the portion sizes were pretty small. This is what we ended up getting (again, delicious), but it cost me $20!

It was a busy visit which is always good to see. The food was good but the service is on paper plates now? This is a small restaurant and is not acceptable! You charge enough. Hire a dishwasher. I don’t use paper plates at home! Only offered one corn bread pancake. Our waitress was great, as always but I don’t think we will be back for a while.

I had the catfish dinner with rice and gravy, collards, potato salad and corn bread. Absolutely DELICIOUS! My mom had the dark chicken with yams, string beans and potato salad. All dinners come with 3 sides and a fried piece of corn bread. Everything tasted ssssooo GGGOODDD!! I’m convinced you can’t go wrong with any dish here. The 2 young ladies at the front gave great service! I also liked the pictures on the wall of celebrities that have visited here.

First visit was perfect. Best fried chicken and catfish we have had in Las Vegas. We figured this was our new spot. A little expensive, but worth it. Second visit was HORRIBLE! Unseasoned smothered pork chops, very salty grilled catfish, watery yams, way undercooked rice. We figured that maybe they had a new cook or something. Decided to give them one last try. They served us burned fried chicken and fish. That’s it…never again.

Great place I usually don’t eat at places under a 4 star but I’m glad I did… I had the veggie plate which consisted of cabbage, red beans and rice, and black eyed peas with the complimentary pancake cornbread which was hella good. The lady was extremely nice just a good vibe.. my brother had the fish plate with mac and cheese, potato salad, sweet potatoes, with a sugar daddy drink I think that’s the name of the drink) but he said everything was good… two thumbs up!!!
