My husband and I tried lunch. Oh, what an experience! Ms. Cynthia made sure our orders were what we requested, and the food just said, ” Delicious to my soul.” We have to eat here at least once a week. If you are looking for authentic soul food, healthy portions, exceptional and respectful service, this is where you should be. The service and taste are consistent every time.

The food was okay. The building had no ac on so it was extremely hot. The lady that made the food in the kitchen was friendly. The man at the counter was not. We were traveling on a mini vacation. Seems people don’t understand that a customer can spend their money elsewhere. Especially if you don’t make them feel welcome. Will not be returning there

Soul food is one of the BEST Soul Food Restaurants in town! Since the Pandemic hit, they are now carryout only. But you can call ahead, place your order and pick it up. The owners have a nice ventilator system that blows germs in the air back out the front door! Their sauces for their boneless wings are amazing! The fried chicken is made fresh to order and the baked turkey wings are the best in town!

Maannnn im tempted to drive all the way back down here from Jacksonville for dinner. The plate i got yesterday was so delicious and the LEMONADE!? Best lemonade i ever had, i need a gallon next time. Even the icecream was good. Cornbread was slightly dry, but still good. The lady that took my order was very nice. I will be back soon for sure

I was working in the Daytona area needed lunch and came across this soul food restaurant, notice they had smothered turkey on rice that’s when I started driving, also got the collard greens and black eyed peas with it. Growing up on smother turkey and rice in NC, I know how I like it and that’s the way they prepared it. GOOD EATING…!

I had it on DoorDash but it came soggy but the flavor of the wings were good so I figured I give em a second chance but this time I tried to call for pick up I told the cashier my order but for some odd reason he wouldn’t repeat it back to me …strange ..maybe a ego thing ..but I went back and forth just trying to make sure I don’t forget anything but he refused to repeat it …definitely lost a customer …it’s sad when good businesses hire poor employees who don’t hold the standards of the food or business
