My wife and I was referred here. When we first walked in, I really appreciated the cleanliness. I definitely liked the numbers on the tables. We both had the grilled chicken sandwich with French fries, and it was awesome, freshly made. We both ended up ordering a second plate each. We also had the peach cobbler with ice cream, yummy. Very nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back again for some more home cooking.

I went for Sunday brunch & got the oxtails Mac & cheese greens & cornbread & everything was so good! Service was also great. I had a elderberry & rose mimosa which was a also very good & different. There were other options as well as a mimosa flight option. I’ll definitely be back! It was not busy at all but it SHOULD BE! I think this restaurant is great for dates, families & friend gatherings. I’ll be telling everyone I know about this place!

The food is incredible full of flavor you can tell it’s cooked with a passion and love definitely will be back I had the oxtails mash gravy with greens and everything was top of the line I hate to say it was cooked better than I ever could lol and we also had cat fish and Mac and the corn bread was tremendous butter and milk for sure no short coming on this menu

Okay, went on a Thursday evening. Tables are socially distant which is important to me. I was in a party of 6, they worked to bring all the food at the same time. I got my plate first, pictures were the farthest thing from my mind. The Cajun catfish had good flavor and was fresh. Potato salad was definitely homemade, really good. The green beans were okay, I guess I had the thought of green beans and potatoes . My cousin had the garlic noodles with shrimp she said it was delicious!!!

I had the Cajun catfish, Mac & cheese & greens. All my dishes were empty which tells you I enjoyed it all. The owner Denise let us try the whiskey bread pudding. I don’t usually like bread pudding but hers wasn’t mushy & I couldn’t stop eating it. The server Jay was in training, very nice & did a good job.

Very disappointed! I ordered ribs, yams, greens, a chicken thigh, corn bread and red beans and rice. The chicken thigh was fried in old grease so it tasted burnt! The ribs were dry with no flavor! The greens had no flavor! The red beans & rice had no flavor! Basically the yams and the corn bread were the most decent thing that I ordered! The portions are small for the amount that they charge also! $36.00 down the drain!
