The young lady cutting the meat was so friendly, so inviting she was handling that knife like a true butcher. Ribs where great, spicy sausage was good(she allowed me to try a piece because she said it was hot) the sides, not so much I had the mac & cheese(I don’t know why I keep trying mac & cheese in restaurants. It is never good)

Some of us didn’t like the food at all. The potatoes where way over done and almost powdery and tasted fake. The sausage and hot links were enjoyed as well as the chicken. The service was ok but with a couple of smaller orders between us and some of our party the first ones to order were almost done by the time we got to the table. Like I said the stuffed potato was basically not edible so I tried the ice cream and it was cold but really no flavor. Really not seeing this as the best BBQ in Texas like their slogan says.

My girlfriend Revonna warned me about this place and how quickly they run out of ribs! She said she went there and they were out of ribs so told her to return the next day and they’d give her some ribs and something free for inconvenience. [I was not with her at that time so I don’t know what the free item was]. I went with her the following day and they recognized her and kept their word! It was my first time eating their food! The cabbage I wasn’t too impressed by but the corn is to die for, and the ribs were worth the wait! They were very tender and the meat was coming off the bone! I should have taken a photo! They also have their own customized bbq sauce that is competitive to brands like Kraft!

I went on the 4th of July for the 1st time I was actually impressed.. customer service was Awesome they asked on my brisket if I wanted fat or not..I also got the turkey fried cabbage & Mac n cheese & toast. It was really good I love the spicy BBQ sauce.. I will definitely be back

I usually do not leave reviews because my Mama taught me if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say nothin. My Husband and I tried this place for the first time tonight he got the 2 meat plate with Mac n cheese, and potato salad, I got the chopped bbq sandwich plate with pintos, and french fries. Everything tasted very good I just was not fond of the bread as it tended to be dry. But boy oh boy those pintos, french fries, pecan pie, and banana pudding, ham, and Mac n cheese were the absolute best!

Five stars is a rare rating from me, but Soulman’s Bar-B-Que absolutely earns it. I was recommended this place by a co-worker and I have to say that it was a gem of a discovery. BBQ is probably one of my favorite food groups of all time and I have tried everything from the tried and true Texas style, to Kansas City and the Carolinas. Soulman’s was a real treat.

For a chain bbq Soulman’s is very good. They use Nolan Ryan Angus Beef and it definitely has a more elevated flavor than a Dickey’s or Spring Creek. Their sides are always good and the service is friendly. Prices are also reasonable. For brisket I think Soulman”s is the best chain bbq out there.

Soulmans bbq is amazing. It’s so tender and juicy with amazing flavor..the side are just as great. The mac and cheese is so soulful.. this place is worth the 38 minute drive every time. As great as the food is the staff is just as amazing. Truly friendly and very helpful.. I love this place..VERY WORTH IT. You won’t regret it..
