First time at this Soulmans location, not terribly impressed. We came on a Sunday evening, place wasn’t very busy. The manager was professional and doing his best to get customers through the line, but the service was still very slow. The chopped brisket sandwich was dry and the meat was shredded, not chopped. Portions seemed a bit small. The sides tasted good, and the restaurant and bathrooms are kept very clean. I will likely stick to the Soulmans in Hurst, better service and their meat is tastier.

I’ve gotten food at Soulmans Bar-B-Que in Red Oak several times in the past few months. My usual choice is brisket, but on fish fry Fridays I occasionally get fish. The food is wonderful. There is a selection of barbecued meats and a range of vegetables to please every BBQ lover. The staff are so friendly. They act like their purpose in life is to make sure their dinner guests are happy!

Ribs too dry and chewy. Dinner didn’t past the fresh taste. For the high cost of 3 plate dinners of ribs, cost out waived the food quality. First time in this location. I traveled around DFW market for years. Visited many of this brand name locations. This one did not measure up.

I had the pulled pork sandwich with French fries, and mac and cheese. The meat had no flavor, but it was tender. The French fries were ok, I didn’t like the Mac and cheese . My husband had 2 large sliced brisket sandwiches, they put the meat on sub buns, he wanted regular buns like I had. He said the meat had no flavor. The sauce was the only thing that helped the meat. Employees were nice and helpful.

The loaded baked potato was not loaded. All the sides were dried up and burned so they made us fresh French fries – no seasoning, very bland. The brisket was EXTRA greasy. My family was not able to eat any of it. We spent $77 on a meal we tossed in the garbage and went out to get dinner somewhere else. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

Food is good. My biggest complaint is my order is always missing something. I did a pickup today and the young lady handed the order and said, “everything is in the bag.” I checked it before I left the store given my previous experiences as she went to help the dine in customers and I was missing 2 items. Just asking for a little efficiency.

I cried as I ate their Texas brisket. I saw the face of God when I ate their smoked chicken. I decided to name my first born child after the pit master after I had the pulled pork…and they even had the audacity to give out free soft served ice cream…now I just have to figure out how I am going to afford to eat their breakfast, lunch and dinner from now till I die.

Hard to find hot links in most BBQ joints. These are pretty solid. I also enjoy their sides, especially the fried cabbage. Wish one was closer, all we have now uw a Dickey’s.

It’s been a long time since I found good barbecue. This place is excellent. Especially the chopped beef, it was very tender and the ribs were juicy and extremely tender with an excellent smoked taste. It’s right down the street from my house so I will be visiting very often.

We had Brisket,Sausage,Ribbs, pulled pork, beans, and potato salad. It was all just above average for a chain BBQ resturant. I’d put it up with Dickey’s. The ribs were probably the best part. They meet the need.
