We went last night 8/5/23 we were greeted by a young man, I explained to the girl at the meat “this is our 1st visit” she stud there waiting for us to read the menu, and decide…. Never asked do u have any questions, I was trying to explain to my 85 yr old parents the menu. Finally decided she said rudely. I just want to know the meat. Well my dad gave her is whole menu and she snapped at him,. So we went through with her 4 time with different meats, rude, disrespectful, and flat out mean. The young man was trying to help us she cut him off and corrected him “we can’t do that” loudly…… food was good but I will not ever come back with that at the front of the line!

It’s okay. I’ll be going back across the street from now on. The veggies are kinda bland to be honest. The only one napkin I got was in the plastic wrapped spork set with the salt in it. The atmosphere is standard barbecue joint and nothing special, a lot like the food. I will definitely say the people are really nice and helpful, but I did feel like I was being rushed by the lady preparing the meats. I probably won’t be back because for the price, barbecue is supposed to be special meal.

My family of 5 was highly disappointed with the food and service. Their slogan is ” We’re not stingy with our meat” should say “We are very stingy with our meat and sides” When you pay over $11 for a plate of BBQ and you ask for a little more coleslaw because she only gave you half a scoop and the server says, “That was a full scoop, would you like an extra side, (meaning pay for it”). It was literally a half a scoop of coleslaw. I know it sounds ridiculous but DO NOT GO here if you want a good helping of BBQ and sides. My photo says it all. That is all the coleslaw and okra I got.

By far the worst Brisket and Pulled Pork I have ever ate. The Lady carving the meats took all of the bark from the brisket and pulled 80% fat to serve from the pork. The toast was over buttered and only toasted on 1 side. The Mac and Cheese noodles was undercooked to the point that the noodles were still crunchy. I 100% Do Not Recommend at all! Changing to a 3 star due to quickness of response try to correct a wrong.

Nice place and the bbq is hit or miss. Pass on the brisket. Sausage is good, chicken is real good. Ribs are good. The creamed corn is great and most of the sides are good. They are kind of stingy with the portions and they cut off most of the brisket bark.
