Listen I was in Memphis visiting from out of town and had a desire for some soul food. Got online hit the search box then hit the reviews so boom off to SOULZ we went. The food was very tasty my ONLY complaint was that I didn’t have a actual piece of chicken just pieces in the dressing

I order chicken dressing, cabbage, mac and cheese, greens, and peach cobbler. Chicken and dressing was very good. Cabbage i didnt like, mac and cheese was just boxed not baked with no salt, greens way tooo salty. This was my first time trying it. Dont think i will be back. I didnt get the wow factor i was looking for.

Man after I saw this place I was dying to go. I had to wait till Sunday they were closed on Saturday. The portions were ok. The person waiting on me couldn’t answer any questions about the food. She kept saying she was just helping out. I asked if the pinto beans were canned, greens and other veggies. I ended up having greens they were filled with jalapeños, the chitterlings had so much pepper and I love black pepper it killed the perfectly cooked chitterlings taste. Not to add even though my change back was printed on the receipt. She couldn’t figure out my change. The vip tea was awful.
