We ordered a French dip and a ham sandwich. The bread, sourdough was super tasty. Very fresh and crispy. The meat was great quality and nicely cut. Cute place at the train station, perfect before a long train ride!

Very convenient to have a place for good quality food at the Amtrak Station. We were boat the train between meal services, so we wanted something besides vending machines. My wife & I split an Italian. It was very good & was plenty for us.

Good food, inside the station, vegetarian options and good service. We got a Reuben and a Veggie, and they were good sandwiches. The sourdough was a good texture, crisp outside and tender inside, the Reuben had a lot of mustard but wasn’t bad, the veggie comes with avocado but no protein unfortunately. There is also cheese and mayo on it default so if you want it vegan just order without Mayo and cheese I think. The fire-roasted vegetable soup was good and had A LOT of veggie chunks in it which was great. Coke products and Mr. Pibb too! I liked the number of selections they have and the staff was very friendly, helping a younger customer figure out her order patiently and nicely.

Wanted to charge me $3.50 for a paper cup for ice, as they were closing. No lettuce or coleslaw avail. for sandwiches.

When I complained about their soup too salty. Reply was ‘ok, thankyou’ as if it doesn’t matter! Similar to saying “oh, well…”.

this was probably one of the best sandwiches i’ve had in a while, was afraid i wouldn’t be able to find good vegetarian food when i got off my bus but this was amazing and worth the money. they have peace tea and kettle cooked chips. the veggie sandwich comes with avocado. if you’re vegan ask to remove the cheese and mayo but i’m pretty sure the bread has dairy regardless. even then you could order the vegetable soup or a salad. the staff was super nice and friendly and listed all the ingredients of the sandwich without me having to ask which i thought was super cool! everything was clean 10/10 would eat here again.

Higher prices than average, but the convenience of being directly in the train station is well worth it.

We we’re there 10 days ago and spent around $40 for some to-go sandwiches for the train. When we got back to Sacramento, we went back and ended up spending around $80… 5 of 5 sandwiches we tried we loved. The older Middle Eastern gentleman that was there today(Thursday July 1st) was very patient with my indicicive wife and kids…they were Busy Busy Busy and still fast without being sloppy. I really appreciate the efficiency and attention to detail. The Bread alone deserves 5 stars.
