Our experience started out pretty good. Got seated quickly for a Saturday night. Salad bar was clean and well stocked with fresh looking ingredients, my huckleberry non alcoholic drink was good. It all stopped there! Waited for over an hour for prime rib! Not sure how that works. Had to get up to ask a server for water. Because she never came back. When I asked about our wait and drinks it was excuses about being short staffed and new staff.

Food came fast & hot! Wasn’t expecting much for being in a smaller town, but the spaghetti is so good, only thing is they forgot the mushrooms I ordered with my food. My mom had chicken parm and was also delicious! Would recommend 10/10!

Great food. We didn’t experience the casino but it does have on attached. I ordered the Philly cheese steak with the sweet potato waffle fries. It was very good. Cooked fresh too as we did have to wait but it was worth it. It came with a dipping sauce that was very tasty. My friend got the hamburger and said it was very good. I would definitely come back.

This was my 1st time there. The salad bar was wonderful. I love soup, but did not like the way they made this particular hamburger soup, too much of a tomato taste for me. The service was good, waitress was friendly and knowledgeable, and she brought drink refills without me asking for it. The onion petals were pretty good.

Pretty good steakhouse. Note that however you order the steaks they will come a bit more rare. I usually like steaks medium rare, and here they come out extremely rare if ordered that way. I’ve found ordering as medium gets it to come out just right at medium rare.

South 40 was a local recommendation and it knocked it out of the park. There is an upper lounge and a family restaurant downstairs with a large salad bar. They offer a good selection of beers on tap. I highly recommend the Flatiron Steak. It was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. Their homemade bread with cinnamon butter was delicious. The staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. Next time I’m in town, I’ll be back to South 40.
