Beef shawarma combo plate w/hot sauce. $18. Food is always good. Veggies are crisp and cold. Beef is tender and hot. Good portions. I try to come once a week. Staff is very nice and they’re always quick. Best shawarma I’ve had around Boston.

My visit to South End Pita had a bit of a dark start— the power was out on the block! But the man at the counter was kind enough to let me know what was going on and that they were only accepting cash. I’m glad I had some on hand, because the Chicken Shish Kabob Combo Plate was worth every penny. Despite the heat, I savored every bite in my car, thanks to my trusty steering wheel tray (which I totally recommend trying if you eat in your car often).

A really nice place with really good food, nice employees and a meh view. Perhaps it’s a little harsh to say that about the view considering everything else was really good but being in front of the highway is not the prettiest thing. But the atmosphere inside ignoring the outside is pretty good and chill. The food was overall good too. I had a wrap and a thing that (I forgot its name) but it was really sweet I didn’t like. The coconut cookies were really good too. The employees were also really nice and I had a great experience. Would recommend.

I ordered the kofta platter and fries. The kofta was very tasty and well-seasoned. The fries were the perfect amount of crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and just enough salt to add flavor but not be too much. The service was also very nice. I’ll definitely try and visit again the next time I’m in the area!

I got the chicken shawarma roll and I literally gobbled it down. I felt like the things were a little lopsidedly distributed in the roll, but it was really yummy and tasted fresh. The person making the food made it really quickly and it was hot. My friend and I had 10 minutes and they got it done. My friend got the falafel salad.

Excellent restaurant bringing a taste of middle eastern cuisine to The South End. The restraunt offers plenty of combinations for your dining pleasure. Your taste buds will thank you and so will your wallet as the food is quite affordable without sacrificing quality or taste. It was delicious and fast and I will absolutely be coming back.
