First time here and it was fantastic. The brisket was very tender and had the perfect amount of smoke and bark. Tried the spicy slaw. Had a bit of kick but also had a great crunch. Baked beans were top notch. Especially with the burnt ends. Will definitely be back again.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a finer barbecue experience in my life! It probably comes from the fact that the man smokes it for so long that it’s got a smoke rind that’s a half inch thick. And honestly, who on Earth puts this kind of care and expertise into meat? Well this guy does! So if you’re looking for an authentic barbecue experience and are willing to put some tiny effort into getting there this is the best meat you’ll ever taste, hands down.

If you are looking for Authentic BBQ this is the spot! Hands down the best BBQ I have had on this side of the Mississippi. The Brisker and ribs had the perfect amount of smoke and awesome bark. This platter of meet transported me to Kansas City where I fell in love with true BBQ. Hats off to this Pitmaster. I will be back the next time I am in town.

Excellent food! All the sides are amazing. Brisket, pulled pork, and turkey were excellent, but the ribs were a little dry. Lots of sauce options and all of them are great. Both dessert options were great as well. We split two small pies between the four of us, and our server took the time to quarter and garnish the pies for us. Everything tasted amazing. The tattooed guy working there was super nice and friendly. Absolutely would go here again!

Our family needed to stop for dinner on a road trip and found South Fork on Google Maps. It was fantastic! The pulled pork was very good, the brisket was excellent and the sides were delicious. We had cornbread, mac & queso, potato salad, and spicy vinegar slaw. The latter two were creative improvements on the standards and both were savory, which I prefer. I loved the assortment of BBQ sauces, about 4 or 5 representing various BBQ styles around the country. We had to try the home made Key Lime pie, so shared the mini individual pie. Blaine made the whipped cream fresh just before serving and we loved it. We had a feast and fed our family of 5 for just over $40. Everything was well done and we hope to stop here again on our next road trip!

The food here was amazing. Blaine helped me place an order for a group of 25, and he was spot on in terms of how much food we would need. We ordered the brisket, turkey, and pulled pork. All of them were tender and flavorful. The beans and the cornbread were absolute stars as sides! I forgot to put out the bagged salad that I had bought to complement the meal, which is just as well, since it would have been completely overlooked.

Sometimes I look at a food review and I think to myself it can’t be. This is one of those situations. I was looking for a quick bite something good and something fast. The sign for South Fork BBQ caught my eye. I was a little concerned as I walked up to the door and I thought is this really going to be good? Rest assured it is fantastic. The customer service was great. The barbecue is great. The price was reasonable. I recommend this to anybody who enjoys BBQ. And I will be back again! It’s not a sit-down wait on type restaurant. Everything is al-a-cart. But it is very good and very reasonable.

Best BBQ I’ve ever had. The pulled pork is so juicy and delicious. The collard greens were also pretty awesome too. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants some good BBQ. I am now a forever customer.

They give you huge portions but there’s really not a whole lot of flavor. The brisket was dry (though this by far not the only BBQ with that problem). Coleslaw was cut way too coarsely.
