This place has been around a long time. I thought they had closed and to my surprise they hadn’t. So you know I had to go in and get a burger and fries. Yes the food was delicious just like I remembered. So if you haven’t been to Southeast Carry out, put it in your bucket list. You won’t be disappointed.

Me and my family went into SE yesterday 08/19/23 when we arrived, the store smelled horrible. They had three young men behind the register one of which lied to every customer including me about the ice machine working while up charging customers for drinks on their meals they were unable to receive. When this was brought to their attention they continued selling drinks without ice it was 110* yesterday. Then to top that off my family received part of their order all of which was barely fresh. I however still waiting for my food was informed they had forgotten about my order. A customer even had to remind them I had been them way before they had and still hadn’t received my food. When I did finally receive my food it was thrown together unacceptably sloppy. The bread soak and wet full of wet lettuce and condiments. After having to ask for a refund on my drinks I had to return my food it was inedible. When I walked into the store your “customer services representatives” laughed in my face while again lying about refunding me my money. When I asked for a refund I was told it had been given I asked for a receipt was unable to get receipts for one order. The customer service was horrible. Flies EVERYWHERE ice NOWHERE. And a restaurant full of young men who think lying to a customer will make them any more happy than telling them the truth. If these are the face of your business. We will not be coming back. And will be disputing the charges for the food I returned! And was unable to eat!

I ordered 2 double cheeseburger combos tasted exactly like cow. No seasoning whatsoever. The Burger was loaded with ketchup to the point where my bottom bun was saturated it had a smidge of onions and lettuce. Where’s the Old Cook 6/25/2023 2:30pm I want be back!

Very reasonably priced, this is a tasty burger joint, a locally owned Wichita icon and their burgers are most definitely worthy of a repeat buy. Forget the national burger chains, go to SE Carryout!

When I go here I like to try something new every time, they’ve done a great job, I was gone for a while, they sent me a message w a % off. I think 10 or 15%. They’re soda machine… Perfect on the carbonation and syrup!!

Hadn’t been in for a long time. Got an offer on FB messenger for a BOGO offer. Tried to use it and the guy cooking (who seemed to be in charge) was visibly angry and annoyed at my using the app special. Don’t offer the BOGO on the app if you don’t want people to use it. Your attitude was my first impression, and I will not be back. There are much better burgers in Wichita anyway.

This place makes a great burger!! I was very impressed! That being said, the fries I got were unsalted and limp. I can live with limp fries, but there was no seasoning on them at all. The burger sauce I got to dip the fries in saved them! All in all the burger was definitely the highlight.

Found the food truck on West and Central. Great burgers! I tried the 1/3 lb burger and my husband had the big kahuna we also had the fried okra and fries. My husband said the burger is highly recommended!!
