We specialize in a lunch buffet with catfish and chicken fried steak served daily along with other items. We also have all-you-can-eat shrimp or shrimp & catfish served Tuesday’s only. A salad bar is included with the buffet and the shrimp specials. And don’t forget – catering is available as well – at our place or yours. We’re open Monday – Friday from 11 am – 1:45 pm.

Definitely not a fan of buffets. However, this was good. I was riding with one of my reps and he suggested it for lunch. He raved about the fried catfish and mashed potatoes and gravy. Place was absolutely packed but we were able to grab just about the only available table when we walked in. Service is immediate and Definitely needs to be complimented.

This place is like stepping into my Southern grandmother’s kitchen. They have the best mashed potatoes I have ever had out . The menu changes around , but they always have chicken fried steak , fried catfish, and a variety of vedgetables. It’s not a huge buffet but delicious . The servers do get busy , but they are nice. Not really any atmosphere, there are always plant workers there for lunch , and just a busy place , but we go for the food.

Great buffet lunch! We came in right at closing time (1:45) and they still let us sit and enjoy the buffet. The fried catfish is well seasoned and my husband highly recommends the fried okra. The loaded mashed potatoes were great too, and the salad bar was fresh.

Okay my wife and I drove from Rockport to try this place. I myself was not disappointed. The place may be small and the buffet may not be some huge variety like other places. But what they have is good’Ol southern cooking. It is a working man’s dream lunch establishment.

First time here their buffet had catfish, chicken fried steak and enchiladas. Mashed potatoes, okra, rice, green beans, gravy, and beans. All homemade it was all excellent. Wow the best food in corpus christi but theyre only open monday thru friday from 11am to 2pm. Definitely recommend and Definitely will be back.
