Delicious breakfast with fresh ingredients! We ordered the brisket skillet special and they separated it into two plates for us. Biscuits and gravy were just the right amount of creamy. Fast service and server was really wonderful. Coffee warmups were frequent. Decor was very cute for fall!

Ate here while traveling through. Asked if they would do an adult size Mac and cheese and they said sure. It was really good! Great flavor, good portion. Husband got fried chicken and had more than he could eat. Great seasoning and good crunch. Hush puppies were wonderful too. Will make this the priority place to eat next time we’re in town.

Pretty darn awesome! Best place I have ever ate at! 1 half chicken dinner could feed one person all day long! Lobster bites are the most amazing thing ever! I don’t understand all the hype about Scallywags compared to this place. The hospitality, quality and taste of food far exceeds Scalleywags!Also… we will miss that super sweet Waitress she was solo nice!

Took out of state family hereh raving about hoshgood the food was. Absolutely the worst dining experience ever. Took an hour to receive meals for 4 kids and 4 adults. Macaroni and cheese tasted horrible, chili dog was cold by the time it was at our table, and my skillet was wrong. Waited another 20 minutes for a replacement skillet, then asked to cancel it. Waitress initially tried to force us to pay for the skillet, saying she couldn’t remove it. She later made a phone call to have it removed from our receipt. Then the credit card reader wouldn’t work. We used to love this place, but after this experience, if I could give them zero stars, I would. So disappointed.

I just left there…..still basking in the deliciousness. My family and I come to Algoma every year and we wanted to try something new. I had the bbq sampler. I got the brisket, ribs, and chicken. Sides were brisket baked beans, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and hush puppies. All was very good, especially the brisket!! The brisket beans were friggin awesome too!! My wife got the walleye and really enjoyed it. Our server was very nice and attentive. I will definitely be back (maybe tomorrow morning, i hear they make a mean chicken fried steak). Prices were very reasonable also. Thanks!!

I was pleasantly surprised by both the food and service here. I had eaten at the original location at Smashed on the Rocks and hadn’t been impressed. The lunch we just had was delicious, generous, and the service was excellent. I’d highly recommend based on that experience.

Very dissappointed. Soup came and I had no lobster or clam in my seafood chowder. Server didn’t bring soup spoons or crackers. Had to ask. Sampler appetizer platter came and she didn’t bring plates. The cheese curds on the platter were exploded out of the Greasy breading. The dinner came and we ordered $16.95 seafood and everything was greasy and tasteless.. I even took the breading off and it was still greasy. I am not one to complain. Usually it ruins the dining experience for everyone at the table so I try to avoid that. It was so bad I HAD to mention that my food was greasy and inedible. She offered me another dinner my choice. So I picked lake perch. Sounded good. It came and it was huge. I pressed my fork down. On the breading and grease was pouring out. I kid you not. By far the worst dining experience I’ve had in a very long time. I will try it again but if they haven’t made changes I won’t return after that.

Tried to order 4 different things on the menu only to be told they didn’t have any of it. Biscuits and gravy were disgusting. My husbands hash browns were so over cooked, he could barely eat them. I have felt sick all afternoon since eating here. I do not recommend this place at all

Online menu showed Mexican specials on Saturday but we were told they didn’t have any Mexican options. I ordered walley and my husband ordered blue gill and fried chicken. All were terrible. Extremely overcooked and dry. Waste of money.
