Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Ain’t no place better for breakfast in McDonough than this place. The folks here really provide excellent service and wonderful food. They treat you like family.

The overall dining experience at this new location is good, because of its cleanliness, and food quality, as well as the disposition of the waitress and her efficiency at getting our orders correct.

The food was delicious! I had the pot roast, with baked apple and collard greens. He had country fried steak with mashed potatoes and slaw. 5 thumbs up on everything. Service was great– friendly and attentive. This is our second visit, and definitely not our last.

I’ve tried breakfast lunch and dinner there. Breakfast as okay at best. I expected better. My grandson said his was really good and the ham steak was generous portion. The chicken we got for lunch was a bit overcooked and the Lima beans with our dinner was salty. Overall okay 3.5 out of 5

BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER… I got turkey and dressing, but as you can see from the pics it’s just wet cornbread ( no seasoning not even black pepper, onions, etc) and strips of turkey. No ROLLS even though I asked for them. Customer service SUCKED. Upon entering, the chick with black hair and double chin ( who’s at the register and always on her phone) will not greet you if your black. She will roll her eyes, and act like you’re invisible. THE WAIT TIME FOR THE SLOP I WAS SERVED WAS OVER 20 minutes. This isn’t SOUTHERN COOKING . Please VIEW THE PICS AND BE JUDGE YOURSELF!

My 1st & last visit. Cravings has you beat by 2 miles! Food is not Frank & Maritza’s norm but was ok but portions were very small for the prices. Our server was not at all interested in taking care of us. It was busy but she just wasn’t taking time for us. Wouldn’t let us finish a question before she tried to answer it. Didn’t give us time to get details of menu on board at door. Was irritated because we ash about it. Actually something should have been on the tables about the specials. Also menu is too small. Most older people would have a hard time reading it. Only 2 menus on a 6 seater table & server was impatient. I am & come from a line of servers & have managed restaurants.

Went there because a couple of my co-workers wanted southern food. We were lucky enough that the place was pretty empty, just before lunch break. Server brought us cornbread and roll. They where pretty good. I ordered the southern fried steak, but, I wasn’t surprised with it. I had the brown gravy and wasn’t amused either. The coleslaw was ok, but the mac and cheese was awesome.
