I went to this establishment 4-6-2023. I’ve been in the past especially when it first opened up it used to be my favorite place. Don’t waste your money! I don’t think they take pride in what they’re doing anymore. My shrimp was overcooked and mushy. The worst I’ve tasted here in Dallas. I will never go back it was a waste of $23 dollars for me to throw it in the trash. I wouldn’t even give 1 star but I have to put something. You’ve been warned!

Mr. Our Purpose Is Your Blessing
We had the pleasure of visiting Southern Crab with friends and family and had a pleasant experience. Upon entering the facility and we did not notice any slip or trip hazards. The service by the employee working the counter was acceptable. When it comes to the food, it was very bland in taste and not as good as other crab legs. It may have been an off day so and since the service was not bad, I believe friends and family may try it again. The meals cost $30 per person.

The boil sauce was like a very thick clump of spice. The shrimp was not de-veined and it had a not so pleasurable texture. It was not enjoyable at all. The chicken wings were very good, as well as the cajun fries.

Man I first time here and it was not good at all! I had got the shrimp boil which came with sausage, 1 corn, 1 potatoe and 5 lemon pepper wings. I order meduim spice in a garlic butter sauce. There was no spice to my food nor was there any flavor to my boil. It tasted plain and was not seasoned. The wings were alright, just not enough lemon pepper flavor. We decided not to go there ever again. Now I must be honest about one thing and that is the customer service was great.

Second time going here and my last time. The food came out so fast, and I believe it was already sitting there. Never aye shrimp that was mushy, but it was. Not again. Thrower away the rest of the shrimp and sausage boil. Noooo

This is a nice local spot in the community that we’re able to go to and have the garlic Cajun crab corn in the potatoes of course there are much nicer restaurants but this is right in the community so it’s pretty nice to be able to still have access the servers are wonderful very nice and I have to tell you that this is a BYOB establishment so you can bring your outside beverages inside and enjoy crab legs shrimp chicken fish rice at your leisure and still have an adult beverage.

They will give you SALMONELLA poisoning! I purchased a pound of shrimp with corn and potatoes. Once I brought my order home, the shrimp were so slimy i had to reboil scared that I would get salmonella. When i called to tell them, they said there is nothing they can do
