Would rate 6 stars if I could. Justin was great, helping us figure out what we’d like. Tried the happy hour wings with mild Buffalo chicken sauce. St. Louis pork ribs in blueberry sauce- stellar -with watermelon cilantro vinaigrette salad and butter herb barley. The blueberry sauce made it taste almost like lamb. Very special. Peanut butter custardy parfait with the most delightful whipped cream. Stop by, you’ll enjoy it.

My family and I went to Southern Fare for the first time and we all absolutely loved. The fresh squeezed lemonade it was delicious. My daughter loved the chicken tenders and chips as well. I loved the “Braised Short Rib” it was to die for. Absolutely melted in my mouth. Hubby loved his chicken sandwich. That’s a win for sure. I shall be back. Thank you to the waitress Seth.(Hope spells this way lol ), I’m low carb and gluten free I often find difficult to eat out. He helped me so much on choosing the perfect meal and for being so kind & friendly.

The food was great as were the cocktails! I had the “You’re Turning Violet, Violet” and a delicious spinach & strawberry salad w/chicken. I loved that the drink menu (mole skin bound) was bigger than the food menu. Each dish on the food menu looked delicious and you can tell a lot of care went into the dish creation. I wish I could have tried them all.

The presentation was impressive, great atmosphere and they had patio seating as well. The food was good however, having a family from the south it was not that Southern seasoning wise. The shrimp and grits were delicious but I had never had fried shrimp with grits. The pork chop was very good, tender and had great taste overall. As well, We had to try the vegan option which was a cauliflower steak (as odd as that sounds) and we do not regret it. I would recommend this place for sure if in the area.

Craved Homemade Fried Chicken for 2 days, decided to wander in here alone to try theirs and WOW! Excellent and unique flavor, SUPER crunchy batter with no grease only delightful & juicy Fried chicken in the center. Side of homemade Mac & Cheese and tried their fried dill pickles. Enjoyed all of it! Staff was friendly and accommodating plus a beautiful bar over looking the main corners in Oswego NY.

I went here today with my BF and our son, I forgot their names but the guy was training a new waitress and they were both so friendly, energetic and provided fantastic service, they were great! I can’t have gluten so I went in figuring I would have the steak salad, I asked if they had any gluten free options and he told me that pretty much everything was gluten free and they had gf rolls, I was soooooo happy the food was AMAZING!!!!! My BF (not Gluten Free) also thought the food was fantastic! Our experience was great, Thank you all for a really delicious meal and time!

My boyfriend and I went to Southern Fare on a whim just the other night, excited to get a hold of their Chicken Sandwich. We were aware that the pricing per person ranges between $20-$30, however, it wasn’t until we got the bill that we realized just how expensive the little things were, while the quality of those things was sub-par.

Had dinner there Sunday evening and was very disappointed that the online end did not match menu they had. We wanted southern fried chicken, shrimp and grits and other southern fans. Not enough southern food here and everything was spicy hot. Service was great but not much biz so….

Beautiful, modern, establishment with an elegant aesthetic. White walls throughout with streetside window seating and an adequate bar area. Staff was friendly and attentive. High chairs available, but bathrooms don’t have changing tables so be prepared if you can’t find a sitter. Bar height, counter, seating alongside a window that looks out onto the street. Widescreen TV’s near the bar. A beautiful seating area right when you walk in offers a nice area to wait or even pose for a picture.

Not an inexpensive restaurant but my wife and I had such a good meal that we returned. Their specialty cocktails have been excellent thus far. Old Money and the Carolina Tip Tap are fantastic choices. We had the Vietnamese po boy with shrimp and the flounder.
