My new favorite! From the moment we stepped inside we knew it would be good. The staff was super friendly. The hostess was great with my daughter and sat us right away. I had the chicken livers, my wife had the fried chicken and my daughter the chicken tender. To say the portions were generous is a huge understatement. This is easily two meals for me! The food is divine. Everything was cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to go back!

The fried chicken was good, but I felt as though I could get it somewhere else. Don’t get me wrong, I could tell it was fresh, but just nothing special. The baked apples, though, were absolutely delicious, along with the sweet potato and fries. I especially liked the self-serve soft drinks.

We were in the area and my girls and I decided to have a lunch date. The gentleman that greeted us at the door was super friendly and helped us right away. Our server was very attentive and friendly with my girls. The food came out pretty quickly as well. The biscuits are AMAZING. Even my oldest who isn’t a fan of any type of bread enjoy the biscuits and ate more than half of hers. The cornbread wasn’t a favorite of ours. I had the mushroom Swiss burger with French fries and green beans. The burger was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Their French fries are 10/10 voted by my girls. Very crisp and soft in the center. The chicken tender that came in the kids meal was cooked perfectly. Not too much breading and it was a really good size chicken tender. The Lima beans were a good side as well. My daughter loved the red skin mashed potatoes and said she would order again.

I was in Greenville for work and was craving some good home cooking and this is the place! I ordered the sliced roast beef over mashed potatoes and gravy, Mac and cheese and collards. The biscuit and cornbread were a perfect combo as well. The collards were seasoned different from what I’m used to but they were still good. Highly recommend this place.

Great chicken fried chicken and hamburger steaks. Good vegetables. Don’t go Sunday afternoon after 1:00 because they start running out of your favorite meats preparing to close at 3:00. The reviewer about a buffet is wrong as they do not have one and must be confused with another restaurant.

This was the perfect place to eat while visiting South Carolina for the first time! It was recommended by locals. The staff was so friendly, we had no wait to get seated, and the food was delicious. I had the pork chop, fried green tomatoes, creamed corn, with a red velvet cupcake for dessert. All very good!

Trouble
A nice meat and two restaurant that my family frequents after church on Sundays. The buffalo chicken sandwich is flavorful and spicy enough to keep you going back for the next bite. The okra, when served fresh off the fryer, is crunchy goodness in a bowl. The fried chicken also is crunchy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. But don’t take my word for it. The menu is diverse enough, there is something for everyone. Go give them a try!

The greeting we received made me feel instantly at home. The hospitality is second to none. Food came out within minutes of ordering. Good spot for homestyle cooking. Kids eat free all day Saturday. Mac & cheese was delicious as was the fried chicken & sweet potato souffle.
