We specialize in Hickory Smoked Pork, Turkey, Chicken and Ribs. We also have Turkey Stew October 1st thru April 15th. We have been in business for over 45yrs. We pride ourselves on having great food and friendly service.
Our Hartselle store is the only one open on Sunday- 10am till 2pm.
Cullman and Arab are CLOSED on Sunday.

I visited here last Monday for lunch while working in the Hartselle area. I had planned to eat inside but when I got there I realized it was much more of a drive through vibe so I went through the line and then drove to a nearby large lot and ate in my car. I’m honestly not sure if there’s any indoor dining or not, but it worked out fine for me.

The food was good. Getting people to understand the difference in barbecue sauce and just something with some vinegar and spices in it is another. Also when you send somebody out to take orders at the car the least they could do is smile. And not act like they really hate to be there. I won’t be back at this one. I’ll stick to mine at Cullman. The picture at the bottom is what y’all call barbecue sauce. It tasted like pure vinegar with a little pork grease added to it and some spices. Thank God I ordered a pint of white sauce.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. I visited three times and the food was alright. I got a turkey sandwich last time, and the bottom bun was very wet and soggy. I also noticed that NONE of the employees wear gloves, so their kitchen is probably a cross-contamination hotbed… plus, their pies are frozen. I tried the chocolate pie and it tasted freezer-burnt.

y’all i am from mississippi and i thought we had good bbq until i moved to Alabama and my husband took me here..after 7 years it is still my favorite..i sent some home to my daddy with my mama and she said he drank the juice out of the slaw and said it was the best pulled pork he’d ever eaten
