Nice locally owned deli with fresh Craft Style bread made daily. The deli is conveniently located in Powell. Their whole sandwich size is big enough to feed two people. Southern Kitchen has a nice variety of classic and specialty sandwiches also tasty salads. Their current hours are only during the week…closed Saturday and Sunday. The staff is friendly and helpful with both dine in and take out service.

Chill little place, good service, not the best sandwich I’ve ever had, but definitely not bad! I’d eat here again and try something else. Do wish they had rye bread for the Reuben option. Potato salad was off the chain. Really liked that, overall really quite good and I’ll definitely come back. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I’ve had better. By the way, the whole is HUGE, that’s a big sandwich. If you’re not that hungry, get a half. Heck I was hungry and that whole sandwich was enough for dinner too!

THIS is the PLACE to eat in POWELL TN if you’re looking for a “homemade” style sandwich that’s been upgraded. The sandwiches are Huge. Love that! They SUPPORT MILITARY!! Love that too! Their twist on pasta salad is outstanding. They have it in a vinegar/sugar mix but I swear I tasted horseradish in there too. The pasta was a little under cooked but still delicious. I ordered the CLUB. I also got the banana pudding. It was a little too much of a banana flavoring vs natural banana for me not I ATE ALL OF IT. It was too die for. Love it here.

Super small place. Nice and friendly, place was clean and they were attentive. Chili dog was great and big. The trendsetter was huge. The brownie was a killer but they sell out fast so keep comming back till you get one.

I got the small Italian sandwich and it was delicious!!! The fresh bread was AH-MAZING and made the sandwich!! Next time, I will order it warm, I didn’t see that as an option when I ordered but the sandwich was still awesome! $22.00 for 2 small sandwiches, chips and fountain drinks.

Was introduced to this little gem of a restaurant on Powell TN. The sabdwiches are absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the Cuba sandwich, by far my favorite. Service is great. And the employees are very friendly. If you’re in Powell and pass up this restaurant, you are missing some extremely good eatin.
