Thankful to find this great little seafood place in South Georgia! (We couldn’t find a good seafood place near Clearwater/St.Pete). Southern Shores is the complete 5- star experience…. Delicious grouper, catfish, clams, and scallops all cooked to perfection and not over-breaded. The hush puppies were also super yummy!

This place was a nice change from the usual “seafood” spots here. My only complaint is that I feel like they tried to get me with a fish swap. I ordered Grouper (which I eat a LOT) and the fish I had on my plate tasted more like Tilapia… which I’ve also had a LOT of in my life. It definitely didn’t taste like any Grouper I’ve ever had before I didn’t take any stars for that though, since whatever it was was well seasoned. The Gator tail was seasoned and cooked pretty well too. Also, the customer service was pretty good, so I would recommend and I may circle back in the near future

Food here was good, I had only one concern is the steamed oyster came out cold but the manager took care of the situation and offered my table another appetizer which was gator tails. Hush puppies were very good. Cheese grits I had to add salt so be aware if you liked seasoning on your food. Catfish was tasty

Went today and my husband ordered the whole catfish. It came out under cooked and we waited for the waitress to come back to tell her but apparently she had gone on a break. Asked another server to help us which she did then the manager came out and rudely asked my husband if he wanted his fish well done? What does that even mean? My husband just wanted his catfish not raw like it was. Manager stated that they always make it the same way and when I replied that wasn’t true because we have been there at least a dozen times before and the catfish was always good and cooked properly. Manager was rude didn’t want to take it off the bill but we had him do it anyways. Husband left after having nothing to eat but the sides. Waitress never came back until she brought the bill. Never apologized or anything. We won’t be going back and we were weekly regulars that you have manage to run off entirely just because of the attitudes shown. Wish I could give zero stars but you can’t. Warning to check your fish before you bite into it!!!

The service and the restaurant are 5 out of 5. Our waitress was great! The food was ok. The fish was pretty good, but had a good amount of cooking oil left in it. The sides taste like something you would find in a box or the freezer section at the grocery store. The okra defiantly tasted like it was from the frozen section. It was not for me, but if you like the food then this is a great place for good service and cleanliness.

First time visiting!! Restaurant was clean and the service was wonderful! The food was delicious…we had fried catfish & shrimp. Great selection of food to choose from & priced reasonably. They also gave you a complimentary seafood dip w/crackers that was really good!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. We walked in at 20 minutes before closing and Breezy and Makala were kind, accommodating and gave us a friendly greeting even though our late arrival meant a later night for them. The food was delicious as always and our server kept telling us not to rush, to enjoy our meal. Upon leaving, they found out it was my birthday and they gave me a piece of key lime pie to go! Wonderful customer service. Wonderful food! My favorite seafood restaurant. Please add shrimp n grits to the menu!

Went to eat here for the 1st time, hoping for good seafood. It was EXCELLENT! OMG you have to try the stuffed mushrooms, they are great! Stuffed crabs, shrimp, scallops all delicious! The hush puppies, best I ever had! Great service! Reasonable prices!
