We had a great experience. Our server (Katie) was fun, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and prompt. We order so much food that it looked like a buffet at our table. We tried the cornbread, chicken tenders with fries, fried pickles, nachos, burnt ends, fried green tomatoes and the pulled pork Mac and cheese. We thought everything was tasty and would order it again. We had way too much food for 4 people. We all want to come back again.

They do not take reservations and is based on first come first serve. We had a party of 8 and was told to get there by 6.

We started off with the pork belly burnt end and a few old fashions. Both did not disappoint. The bartenders were awesome with great conversation. The food was great, the shrimp and grits were wonderful. The shrimp were seasoned perfectly and grits were nice and cheesy. The jambalaya had great meat in it and if you like heat this is for you.

Let’s just start with the fact that we went after they had only been open for 3 days. The time between our appetizers coming out and our main meal coming out was over an hour. The fried pickle chips pork belly burnt ends and the fried green tomatoes appetizers were delicious. The pimento cheese dip could have been thicker and served with more crackers. All of the main dishes were huge! The pastrami sandwich with sweet potato fries was delicious. The catfish had a sweet cornmeal breading, served with delicious grits. The house fried chicken sandwich was quite tasty, but skip the coleslaw (which lacked any flavor at all). The flavor of the bone-in fried chicken was delicious. We ordered the pimento grilled cheese, but were brought out the brisket grilled cheese… which was delicious, served in Texas toast. The pimento mac & cheese could have used more creamy cheese, but the tender brisket made it fantastic. No room for dessert this time, but we’ll be back. Also, don’t miss out on the delicious craft cocktails!

Food looks good, ambiance looks good. That’s about it. The fries and the peach cobbler were the best part, until the cast iron reacted with the peaches and stained them black… quick tip for the audience, don’t use cast iron with acidic food. Management charged for the replacement dessert, server was there about three times our whole service, and I’ve had better grits at waffle house. Peach rum cake is miserable: frozen peaches and cisco bundt cake.

I’m going back to give it another try… HOWEVER, I wasn’t impressed with the food tonight. Let me start out by saying the atmosphere is awesome. LOVE the patio and the decor inside the restaurant. Our server was also very friendly and prompt. My old fashioned was not only delicious, but it was pretty! Love the “S” in the ice cube and dried orange for garnish… but my husband’s chicken sandwich was dry and tasteless… It needed a sauce or something. My burger was okay… but also, it’s a burger–not too difficult. The truffle rosemary fries tasted more like pesto and parmesan; I tasted no truffle whatsoever. I will say they have great presentation, which I appreciate.

Great food and cocktails! Their menu had so many dishes we wanted to try that it was hard deciding. We ended up getting the shrimp and grits and brisket grilled cheese along with a side of biscuits. Everything was tasty and we can’t wait to go back again.

Highly recommend this place! We went here on a Friday night and only waited 35 minutes (very acceptable for walk-ins on a Friday night). Our wait staff was very attentive and made great recommendations. The crawfish hush puppies and pimento cheese appetizers were fantastic! We also enjoyed the shrimp and grits along with the Carolina fried chicken sandwich. The Social Cosmo and the All the Way Down South Manhattan were delicious. This place is definitely worth a visit for some great comfort food and cocktails. The only thing I would say is that the atmosphere is a bit loud so it can be hard to have a conversation. Still, I would recommend this place gladly!

You have to try the chicken tenders and their nachos. The tenders where plump and juicy and will definitely fill you up. The nachos had the shredded pork that just melts in your mouth. So much flavor in both dishes. The corn bread was a nice sweet savory complement as well. The space is pretty big and open with typical modern atmosphere. Definitely a place to try out!
