First time visiting for us! Great – Very clean – atmosphere, very friendly employees, really good food. We enjoyed our visit and everything about it. We were pleasantly surprised as to the amount of food we received and will definitely be visiting again. We got the seafood burger with onion rings and the shrimp basket with sweet potato fries and cornbread. We realized several other patrons were regulars based on their correspondence with the ee’s which made us feel good Please try when you have a chance!

In the mood for some good catfish, tried to go to another restaurant, which was closed, and I’m glad it was because it made me look up another place which turned out to be delicious! The catfish was seasoned well and fried hard, just the way I like it! The okra and tomatoes are a must try…also very tasty and flavorful!

Visited a few days ago with my father and some friends. The shrimp and grits were SO dang good.. I can not stop thinking about them! I usually have to add salt or pepper to my shrimp and grits plate but this was seasoned so well… I will be back for more! Also tried some of the oxtail my friend ordered it was so tender it just fell apart *drools. The Mac and cheese was also a huge hit!

Absolutely delish!! Always clean, the owners and staff are super friendly, great service and the food is on point!! Visited here several times with consistent deliciousness!! With with family or friends. I’m a Charleston native and love delicious Southern Food. Let me tell you, this taste like home…and I’m picky! The shrimp & grits was slamming!! Everyone can’t make it!! Everything we ordered was great. The food is well flavored and seasoned. The meat was tender and fell off the bone. The portions are generous so come with a big appetite. This place by far is better than Miki’s if your looking for soul food closer to Rosenburg . The food is well worth the price. We ordered as a appetizer crab cakes and seafood gumbo. Our main was oxtails and smothered turkey. Followed by peach cobbler and German chocolate cake. This is our new favorite soul food spot. The owner Karen is friendly and hospitable. Great place.

I had the Catfish Opelusus in a bed of dirty rice, two shrimp with a side of Mac and Cheese, and everything was cooked to perfection!!! The quality and quantity of the food was amazing!!! Karen the owner came out to greet and welcomed us. I loved, loved this food and the atmosphere was so nice. We will definitely be coming back with other family members.

Soulllfoodddd!! Ordering online was quick and easy. Picking up was super quick and the older lady there was so sweet. The fried shrimp batter tasted very lemony, I wasn’t a fan of it but everything else was great. The shrimp and grits was delicious according to my husband.

Stopped here right at 11:00. They were prompt to open up. Our server Christian was so polite and took good care of us. The food was delicious! We had the fried green tomatoes to start, they were cooked to perfection. Our 3 entrees were the blackened chicken, shrimp and grits with a cup of the seafood gumbo, and fried Catfish Opelousas. Everything was delish and the best comfort food for a cold day!!! The gumbo was perfect. Mac and cheese was extra cheesy and the noodles were NOT soggy. Thank you for a great experience!!!
