This is the best Southern seafood I’ve ever had! Not only is the food so delicious that you can’t stop, but the peach cobbler pudding is the perfect therapy for a wounded heart. The lady up front was so sweet and nice; the place is so clean and cute to dine in. I am definitely driving from Newark just for some good food again.

I went to this restaurant with a friend for the first time and it was hands down the best food I’ve had in the Middletown area! I tried the Southern Seafood Crawfish Boil, cornbread, sweet tea, and the peach cobbler pudding. The seasoning was on point, the sweet cornbread was one of the best I’ve ever had in my life, the sweet tea was delicious, and the peach cobbler pudding was to die for. Can’t forget to comment on the amazing customer service and friendliness provided by the staff. I will definitely be coming back to try more things on the menu.

Dine in two times & loved it. The owner was extremely nice & accommodating. The food was not salty as most would assume. The portions are very filling. The Po Boy is a really big sandwich that can be shared. The boils are not over seasoned with old bay. The food was fresh served hot. Loved the crab fries! You must try the puddings!

Just okay. My expectations were higher. I was going to leave it at that and give them another try. But since I received the rudest reply from management, let me be thorough. The shrimp boil, garlic, was not flavorful. I’ve never had broccoli in a seafood boil, it was mushy and overcooked. Stop putting broccoli in it. The jambalaya was well seasoned. The sausage in the jambalaya was cheap. Seemed like cheap hot dog sausage. One size for $15, overpriced and poor quality. The fried fish and fries were average. Not going to give the restaurant another shot. Customer service via response to original post was rude and weird. Relax. I’ll post the reply in case it was deleted.

We traveled an hour to try this place out and we were not disappointed. Everything was delicious!! My husband and I ordered the jambalaya, butter and garlic shrimp boil, and southern crab seafood boil and muscles. We also got the peach tea which was amazing! Will definitely be coming again!

I absolutely love seafood and often times when am in the Delaware area visiting family I find that there are no great options for restaurants to order from other than the basic chain restaurants we all tend to know. When southern style seafood open I was so excited, I went to the soft opening and the grand opening and now am a regular. I’ve tried everything on the menu from the po boy sandwiches, bread pudding , seafood salads, homemade cornbread to the boils and my ABSOLUTE favorite the gumbo. Everything has been DELICIOUS. If you’ve ever been to New Orleans and had gumbo or any Cajun dish you will LOVE LOVE LOVE southern style seafood. They will bring you back to New Orleans every single time. The food is fantastic and the service there is excellent. So happy to have them in the area! The gumbo is a must you will not be disappointed.

The snow crab platter was sooooo good! I normally don’t eat the sides that come in crab platters, but those sides (potatoes, corn on the cob, and broccoli)were soooo good I ate everything! I will be back for sure!

Gumbo was everything everyone said it was, and more. Shrimp po’ boy was NOT poor on size, big and delicious with tasty sauce on the side. Fresh fries, fresh squeezed lemonade, and sweet cornbread. Excellent!
