Great tasting Thai food. Dropped by for lunch and had the soft shell crab with Penang sauce. Delicious; right amount of heat. The chicken soup was delicious also.

One of our favorite places to go. Their crab rangoons are different than most, as they seem to put a little curry in them. Very interesting flavor. I love all of their curry choices. This dish pictured is the green curry with duck. The staff here is very pleasant as well.

Overpriced and stingy. Bland. Ordered Thai food and it tasted like cheap Chinese food. The curry was watery and had very little ingredients. A cup of veggies and some bland chicken is not worth $12. The Tom yum was bland and not worth $6. Total bill for two was over 40 with tip. Waiter never asked how the food was. We left hungry and disappointed. You have been warned. Skip!

I went to Southern Thai for lunch, and I thought it was great. The lunch menu was pretty simple, but they had a lot of variety. The food isn’t anything really unique, but it’s made really well. It tastes better than the average Asian food that most places serve. The restaurant is really clean and decorated pretty well. They also serve beer, which is never a bad thing. I would recommend it for when you want to put Asian food in your mouth.

Without a doubt the best Thai food in Wilmington. Excellent atmosphere for a first date or a couple’s night out. Any of their Pad Thai dishes are out of this world. The dumplings are not what you would expect, but they were excellent.
