Great hospitality. When I walked in I was greeted by the customers and staff which is different. My waitress was very helpful. Very nice. Very attentive. She knew everyone’s name and made me feel comfortable like I was part of the group. The food was delicious. The portion sizes was large. I will definitely be returning with my family!!

Loved everything. If wasn’t so cold due to being anemic, everything would’ve been great! Reminded me of an old-school cafe where the waitresses knew and were friendly to everybody. Awesome experience for my first time there! By the way, my fiance said the grits were, simply, marvelous! As for me, the French toast was wonderful!

I was calling an order for take out and the service was horrible even just starting with the phone call. I was ordering food for myself and my family and the lady on the phone cut me off after the first thing I ordered and hung up when I wasn’t even finished or didn’t imply at all that I was finished ordering. Then when I call back to complete the order, she was rushing me through my whole order so I couldn’t even tell if she was listening or getting it right and then when I was finished ordering I was told no wait time or even how much my order costs. Then skip to picking it up, we went through the drive thru because I have an ankle injury and I figured it’d be easier, and the lady at the window was extremely rude. And closed the window on me immediately after handing me my food without asking me if I need anything else and without even handing me my drinks as we also ordered 2 sweet teas. She immediately walked away from the window very irritably after she closed it so I had to wait another minute or two at the drive thru window before she returned and had a bad attitude about giving me my drinks. I had a $10 tip for that lady that I was going to give her after she came back with our drinks originally but I put it up as soon as she slammed that door in my face. Food was trash. Service even worse. Never going back even if the food was amazing because of how horrible the service is

This is one of those old dinners that are neat to eat at. The service is rough, to say the least. Very, old fashion rough Waitress service. Definetly could use some good customer service tips. All American food. The burger was good. The regular fries were about the same as the pencil thin fries.

Hadn’t been here in years because of bad quality, but it has come back up and is a major contender in the plate lunch category. It’s better than Strawns for the plate lunch for sure, because you actually season your food. My daughter enjoyed her breakfast when we came. She’s never cleaned a plate at a restaurant so fast. Thanks for the awesome food.

In all honesty for this being southern it wasn’t good in my opinion. I was so excited hoping it would be authentic tasting but It just didn’t satisfy that southern food craving I had. I am from Dallas and have tasted better there. Too bad maybe I’ll have better luck next time passing through ♀️.
