Soya & Pomodoro is a two Italians’ dream that became true; they arrived in U.S.A. years ago, more precisely to Miami in the search of their true passion calling for the culinary industry.
Never giving up, Rosario started as waiter then, later became General Manger of the Bianca restaurant at Delano Hotel, one of the most famous in town. Cristian grew up in the kitchen and carried forward the Mediterranean tradition in a land miles away from the smells and flavors which he never forgot.
Both men were joined by the same purpose – not only to administrate a restaurant on their own, but to revive the comfort and homey atmosphere, serving a table with delicious recipes to satisfy every taste, in a scenery where nobody is allowed to be hurried.
Creative Italian fare served in bohemian digs converted from an old bank, plus live jazz shows. Based on 594 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.5 stars. Price $$

Very good experience. Tastey wine, awesome romantic date night experience. My pasta was just a little underwhelming but was still good! My partner loved his steak!

Five star service, incredibly fresh and tasty dishes, live music, great wines – this place could not have been better! We each had the fazzoletti and paired with a rose. The service was outstanding with how they anticipated your needs before asking and the ambiance was amazing. Parking garages around range $15-$20 and street parking by meter where available.

I’ve visited Miami a couple times and typically the service is awful. BUT, Soya e Pomodoro staff were extremely attentive and the best I’ve had here. Frieda was our server — kind with great eye contact. A man whose name starts with an E understands service to a T. He spotted our balsamic vinegar leaking while I poured, and immediately came back to wipe the bottle, offered paper napkins, and new silverware. We ended dinner with complementary limoncello which was delicious. I’m so happy to have come to this local restaurant.

The food is fantastic. Reminds me of a good home cooked meal in the country I have eaten here several times and I have never been disappointed. We had fazzoletti di pere e formaggio. Oh…so good. Also one of the specials for the day cod (w/black Olives and capers) rosted potatoes and green beans. Delicious. Half way through the meal when I thought about taking pictures. The service was also good. The final price for lunch (included non alcoholic drinks and tip automatically added) was a little unexpected ($70+), but the quality of the food made up for it.

Loved the vibe at this Italian spot in downtown Miami. Excellent food and wine and great live musicians that created a nice ambiance for dinner on a Saturday night. Highly recommend for something unique, understated, and delicious!

Went with a group of friends for dinner to find out there’s no air conditioning? In the middle of the summer in Miami, I’m very confused how people could comfortably enjoy a meal. We were all sweating, the food was underwhelming and the wine selection was limited. Would not go back.

In town for a few days pre-cruise and saw the reviews on this place. Had a great dinner – beef carpaccio and mushroom ravioli. The rosé is good, not sweet. Very cool space.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to! The food was careful prepared so that each ingredient shined through each plate. The ambience made me feel like I was transported to Italy. The highlight of the night was live music! She sang her heart out and actually made me cry…lol which I never do in public but she was amazing. This was more than just dinner, this was an entire experience. Chef came out and greeted us! Our table stayed clear of any dirty plates! Thank you to thE ENTIRE restaurant team for making this a memorable night! AND OMG the free lemon cello shots at the end of your meal almost made me cry again. SOOO. Good and fresh.
