Really great quality food! My sandwich was toasted to perfection and the flavor is wonderful. I love that like 99% of their options are vegan by default to order with a sense of ease. Highly recommend this place as they put a lot of care into their food.

Top notch brunch date, the food, service, and atmosphere were all 5 stars. Happy we stopped in and excited to come and try their other offerings. Order a cookie before you go!

The food is amazing! I tried the Vegan Cheese Sticks sticks with their magic sauce. The sticks were piping hot and the sauce was delicious, they told me it has curry in it but dont let that deter you because it is the best sauce ive ever had! For my meal I had the Hot Mess, i was hesitant about the ‘vegan cheese sauce’ but that is definitely the way to go. The dish will be ruined if you change it to dairy cheese shreds! The ‘vegan cheese sauce’ is definitely more sauce than cheese, i would call it more of a tumeric sauce as i didn’t detect any cheesy flavor. With saying that it is definitely the perfect combination of flavor! Just a possibly misleading name. Same can be said about the Cosmic Fries, they are less like fries and more like potato wedges, not what I was expecting but not bad either way. The workers were all nice but possibly a tad disorganised. One sauce was not sent to the table with the food so another girl brought it only to have the sauce finally come out 10 minutes later, they obviously apologized and fixed it. My entre also wasnt served until my sister was already well into eating her food. It is sad that such a nice place seems to not have AC. It would have been way more enjoyable having a meal in a comfortable atmosphere.

It’s a lovely place. The food took nearly an hour so that was infuriating. I ordered the vegan cheeseburger burrito with gluten free tortilla, fries with cold salad, and vinaigrette. When it finally arrived it was hot and pretty good. The GF tortilla was terrific, but the burrito wasn’t cheesy enough. The fries were fresh and delicious. The long wait was extra excruciating because I recently threw out my back. So I was hoping for fast service. All in all the food was good, waitress was pleasant, but they need to work on pushing out the food faster.

Spacecat is now open for indoor dining service! We have regularly ordered takeout since they opened and everything looks amazing on a plate instead of a takeout box. I especially love how the veg proteins are made in house and not just frozen pucks other restaurants use as a meat substitute. All the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable about any ingredient questions I have.

I’ve been a regular since the place opened. The Red Dwarf is the best vegan burger I’ve ever had. Their bowls, burritos, and specials (i.e. pizza, and puff-puffs) are consistently great. The sweets are lowkey the best part of the menu; wonderful cookies, and cakes. I always like to get something extra as snack for later.

Nice Vegan spot in Ferndale. Carry out only at this time. Ordered Black bean burger on GF bun with warm kale salad and it was good. Cheese sticks were pricey but my favorite w/marinara. The hubs ordered spicy chicken tenders w/dill ranch & spacecat hot sauce also good. Broccoli & cheese soupwich w/cold salad. Cinnamon chocolate coffee cake was super bomb.

Today was my first time trying V-Stro Cat. I was greeted very warmly by the staff when I picked up my carryout. I got the gluten free cheeseburger burrito with garlic greens and a gluten free coffeecake. Everything was delicious and very fresh. The tortilla on my burrito stayed crisp even after my fairly long drive back to work. I will say that I think the prices online are not updated. I calculated that my cost should have been around $15 or $16, ($11 for the burrito and $4 for the coffeecake) but was charged just over $20. Overall, I would say give it a try, it was quite tasty!

This place is so refreshing!! Especially after the pandemic, the metro Detroit area has lost many vegan/veggie restaurants (and there wasn’t many to begin with). And most of the places left just have impossible and beyond. So to find this place that makes nearly everything from scratch is awesome!!! I wish it was full vegan, but nearly everything is vegan (unless you order something with chicken eggs). Either way I will definitely support this business! The hours are short and closed Monday and Tuesday so sometimes I wanted to eat here but it was closed when I happened to be in the area. I’m glad I finally got to try though!! Could quite possibly be the best vegan breakfast items in metro Detroit! The sausage jalapeño biscuit sandwich seemed more filling and had more on it than the chickn’ & waffle sandwich. I’d definitely order it again!! The sausage seitan was really good!! So rare to find places that make seitan from scratch so it’s a really treat!! I can’t wait to try more items! I’m a total space cat now!!
