People have been telling me for years that I needed to try it, but I have always been in a rush to get home. Don’t let the location at a gas station fool you. The food was great, and so was the service. I had the Blackened shrimp po’boy with a side of something other than fries for once (broccoli).

Stopped on my way home from Grand Isle for a shrimp po-boy, the sandwich was great but my waitress (the one with the pierced lip) was horrible. I think I was her only table, I had to wait on a tea refill, but the real problem was after I was done she picked up my plate and never returned. I waited and waited for my check, I could have been miles up the road, evidently she had 3 friends come in and go to the bar which she was happily waiting on and making them drinks. A customer and his daughter sitting next to me didn’t get his check from another waitress and he finally went to the register to get checked out and I followed him to the register also, cause I was left for dead at my table, these waitresses would never make it at the real Spahrs on hwy 90 if they can’t even handle 2 tables.

Tried beignets and french toast for appies for the table. Out of this world good. Had the seafood omelette and it was also very good. Good atmosphere, clean place and the service was small town homey. Food came out in good time as well. Highly recommend.

I always stop in at Spahr’s when I’m down the bayou. Breakfast is top notch just as everything else. To top it off you can’t beat the wonderful staff here. These ladies have a smile on their faces every day.

Absolutely Excellent Customer Service! Our waitress was the nicest young lady! They are very accommodating to people with food allergies! My dinner was incredibly good! Even though my party arrived close to closing, they had no problem whatsoever changing all of their oil, etc once I told them that I had a shellfish allergy. Excellent food! Excellent Service! I cannot recommend this restaurant any higher! The best of the best!
