Ordered a chicken bacon ranch cheesesteak and chicken tenders on a roll is what I received. I have ordered these here before and it was an actual chicken cheesesteak with shredded meat. When we called back to see what happened, the girl said they were out of chicken cheesesteak and this is what we got. No apologies, no offers to make anything right. I’m really not sure why we weren’t told on the phone when placing the order or even told about the huge change when the order was picked up. I easily could have chosen a different item on the menu. Also had a mishap had in the summer where our order slip was put in the wrong place and after over 45 minutes of waiting and kindle asking for an update, we were told what happened.

Great place to go if you want some filling food or some tasty ice cream. Excellent prices and very friendly service. I go there often to take a break from day to day life and have my usual twist with extra malt. Everyone there always knows what I mean by extra malt. What are you waiting for? Get done reading this and go try it. If you have tried it. You know what I mean. Yea I see you nodding in agreement. You got good taste in ice cream.

We have stopped here many times since the new people have opened it up. At the beginning they seemed to really struggle. We kept going back though with hopes they would get better. They seem to have got adjusted now. However it’s still hit and miss. Sometimes the service is great, others it’s… not the best(not horrible). My main gripe is that they hand you a cup, with sticky ice cream and or marshmallow all over it. 🙁 and wait times. But that’s not major. We will still continue going here for ice cream! It’s so yummy! And I HIGHLY recommend you do too!!!

Good for its main purpose of soft serve. Like hahing like frozen strawberries thawed for sundaes over some jelly. Food still as food with Italian cheesesteaks and ham n cheese cosmos still great standards. Chicken fngers and shrimp baskets to burgers also. Just wish a bit more around it. More old-school vibe it probably once had. Best in area still and lucky to still have.

If i could leave 0 stars I would! We ordered 2 cheesesteaks, one hot dog and a small fry only to wait over 45 minutes to find out the order wasnt even started! They take phone call ins a priority over people there in person, the staff is clueless and we ended up needing a refund before we starved to death. They didnt respect anyone enough to tell wait times upon ordering. Good luck ordering food here, they even kept my $9 tip!!!

So, this place is basically my namesake! Drove about 1.5 hours out of the way to take pictures and to partake of some glorious Spangenberg family cooking. Despite all of this I really wanted to like this place. I really did. There was only 1 guy ahead of us that ordered a single cheesesteak. We ordered 4 burgers and onion rings and fries. After 48 minutes of waiting we finally got our food and it was absolutely despicable. The burger was plain. And I mean PLAIN! No mayo. No ketchup. No mustard. No nothing. A bun and a slice of beef. That’s it. $6.50 for a cold piece of slop. Why the long wait? There certainly wasn’t any rush? This could have been served in 5 minutes. Those frozen White Castle sliders from Walmart would have microwaved 4 times faster and taste better that what I was served. Didn’t even see or taste salt on the pattie. The fries? Although handmade and despite looking fresh they were cold and soggy, and also didn’t have a single grain of salt on them. They looked like they were dunked in oil for about 20 seconds before they were served to us.

We stopped for ice cream. And ordered three milkshakes and a flavor blast and we received four milkshakes. When I asked at the window because I knew it wasn’t a flavor blast, we’ve ordered them before, he said it was. They come as ice cream with a spoon. Not a kid and a straw …… Not even the right flavor.

This used to be one of my favorite spots. I was so excited for it to reopen. Our experience was horrible. I ordered food for there and also a 20 piece chx to go. For those of you who used to love their fried chicken, it is NOT even close to the same (as they claimed on the Fb page). I didn’t get my side with that or my other 2 meals and they forgot the cheese for my cheese fries. Not to mention I waited an hour for 2 sandwiches and some chicken tenders. They mention how it’s not “fast food” but over and hour for their food? Really? I, myself, ordered a dried out grilled chx sandwich that was overcooked and had nothing on it. Honestly, the food nor service was good. We waited too long we decided to forego the 20+ minute wait for ice cream.
