Spanky’s definitely lives up to all the other reviews. What a hidden gem; it’s like stepping back in time with the nostalgia of the place, the game room downstairs and the friendliness of the service. The pizza is out of this world, a delicious thin crust, perfectly melted cheese without a ton of grease, just the right amount of tomato sauce, and fresh toppings, in this case chicken and mushrooms. Great prices too!

Stopped in today with the family on our way through. We were greeted with friendly smiles and great service. We ordered a large everything pizza. WOW! Hours later, we are still talking about our wonderful experience.

This was a super good pizza place! We had stopped by when we were heading through town, and I’m glad we did. The pizza had a really nice crust, and was cooked perfectly. The ambience and customer service of this restaurant is really nice too, even though I wasn’t in there for too long. Loved it.

Top notch pies. Local business. Way better than any chain. The large is substantial and the pizza is done just right, nice and crispy but not burnt. I especially hate gooey undercooked dough. Check them out.

Best pizza in Placerville. I almost hate to review this place because I don’t want anything to change. Quality seems to go down when to many people know about these hidden spots. I’ve been coming here since the 70s and it is still a favorite pizza place.
