Mediocrity incarnate at this establishment. The menu is extremely limited and their fryer was broken. I ordered a half pound of chicken and the smallest portion of bbq beans. The chicken was served chopped into bite sized chunks of flesh still containing bones as I rudely discovered. The beans were horrific gelatinous ovals, seemingly microwaved and undercooked. The bbq sauce they were slathered in tasted to me like it went sour last month. As for me, I will not be revisiting this establishment ever again and recommend to you, assuming you appreciate good bbq, to leave this place on your list of do not visits.

Good amount of food for the price, we got a 1/4 of each of their meat and a small of each of their sides. The meat was decent, brisket was tender. The sides, not great. Mac and cheese was soupy and flavorless, the beans couldn’t decide if they were baked beans or chili beans and the banana pudding had cinnamon on it? Still not sure how I feel about that. The table where we sat hadn’t been wiped down, had to do it ourselves, the one trash can near the door was overflowing and there were no paper towels in the women’s restroom. Badlands BBQ, not far away, is by FAR better. Better food, better atmosphere and definitely cleaner.

Delicious “Capitalist Pig” Tri-Tip sandwich with all the fixins and a side of Mexican street corn. Very cute atmosphere, vibrant, helpful and prompt staff, and the spicy BBQ sauce completed it all! Well done and SUPPORT LOCAL!!

Fantastic food and really good prices. The ribs are fall off the bone and the brisket falls apart as you grab it. Their BBQ sauce is fantastic and they make their own pickles and pickled onions which go great with everything. Service is super quick too. Only downside is they’re very popular and can run out of food pretty quickly so it’s better to go close to opening.

All the food was pretty good. I wasn’t a fan of the Mexican street corn.

First time here. We really enjoyed it. Tried a bit of everything and we will definitely be back. Really enjoyed talking with one of the owners. The place has this different feel to it. Not a generic dining room. Actually had fun eating there.

We ordered (dine-in) brisket (both meat and sandwich), hot links, ribs and Mac n cheese, beans and desert (close to $100). Hot links were cool to the touch and squshy, brisket was actually not bad and I’d probably order the brisket sandwich from them again, Mac n cheese was watery and flavorless, the “dry rub Texan style” ribs were so hard and dry that it tasted and felt like eating fried pork rinds; they were so dry, crunchy and old that the meat actually changed color (that color that meat changes to when it’s been sitting out for a long while – see pictures). I can’t help to think that these ribs were given to us maliciously as anyone with common sense would have seen that the ribs were not suitable for serving. Atmosphere was clean and theme was patriotic and blue line/Military friendly it’s unfortunate that they don’t extend their pride of country and service to pride in the quality of food they offer to their customers. Brisket sandwich was the only reason for the 2 stars otherwise it would have been 1.

I ordered a pull pork sandwich, and it came with no BBQ sauce on the sandwich. You had to put it on yourself. Mac n Cheese was very plain. Beans didn’t taste good, and the banana pudding we got for dessert wasn’t any better.

My family and I stopped here for a bite to eat and we really enjoyed the food here. We order the trip-tip, brisket, and the ribs. My favorite are the ribs. The ribs were very tender, full of flavor and comes easily off the bone. We also ordered some sides and the cowboy beans was very good. The unfortunate part about this restaurant is that it is not in Las Vegas, NV.
