We stopped here for lunch after a cruise. Should definitely have checked the reviews first – there are so many options in Lake Geneva for a bite and I’m sad we wasted a lunch here. My kiddo and I were super hungry and as we sat down we put our order in immediately. A salad and a burger. We waited 30 minutes for our food to come out. And it wasn’t because they were busy slaughtering the cow for a nice fresh burger patty. Our server was unprofessional – I wouldn’t say unfriendly, but very distracted and overly casual. After asking for the check, we waited another 15 minutes for it to arrive. When it did, our waitress informed us that she took a quick bathroom break. I really didn’t need to know that. I did see another server working her butt off with other tables so it comes down to how important staff is when you run a place.

After a long and hard day of carrying the boats, I was STARVING. This restaurant both quenched my thirst and filled my stomach. The lake view is incredible and I can’t recommend this place enough.

With so many other choices, I’m upset that (as another reviewer said) I wasted a meal here. It’s like they don’t think they need to even try. Their location makes them a natural for foot traffic and they’re busy – but while the service was good and my server was friendly and efficient, the food struggled to be “okay.” I got a cheeseburger and fries. The bun was cold, the cheese was unmelted and the burger was thin, unseasoned and had zero texture to it. The fries were nothing special. I’m not usually hyper critical but this meal left me wishing I had just opted for McDonald’s or Culver’s.

It’s a great place to go to get lunch. The food was really good, and I was shocked they actually had a gluten-free option on the menu! Granted, when we asked for the gluten-free hamburger buns, they had none. But they were still willing to give it to us as a lettuce wrap, which was very enjoyable!

Terrible place, witnessed a table next to me get the craziest treatment from staff and ownership. Waitress was rude from the beginning. Once they were served drinks the waitress again told a person at the table “you had a mouth of your own” because her drink was ordered for her, they quickly said we will leave and cancel the order. IMMEDIATELY a large man got in the three women’s face with one elderly and toddler not allowing them to leave for the food ordered and not yet received. Would never recommended someone getting food here it’s not good and clearly family owned because the way they handled the situation was appalling. Seemed like a father and daughter situation. Only thing is it’s close to the boats to quickly leave

Was such a horrible experience. I was sitting next to a table, when the waitress was yelling at a customer with a small child there about the time they came in. All they asked was the food going to be ready prior to their boat trip. Then the waitress proceed to talk about the employees she works with, how slow they are and they never get anything right. When the women’s and child went to leave, the owner ran out and was yelling saying he was calling the cops cause they were leaving cause of the service and they didn’t even eat anything. I will never go there again with my family, cause I didn’t come in to witness a harassment in a restaurant. I should’ve went by the reviews when they had 3.1 stars, but I thought I would give them a chance, cause we as well was taking the boat. Please read reviews prior to going anywhere, cause they are always true based on the customers. And the food was not all that great and expensive.

My husband and I came on July 25th in the late afternoon. The host asked us how many and we said two for outside. She practically throws the menus at us and told us to sit where we wanted. Then a large group of people were sat outside and the waitress was right there taking all their drink orders. I figured maybe b/c it was a big group they took theirs before us…okay fine. Then the waitress walks back into the building and we still had no one take our drink orders…we were next to the group. She came out and gave the group drinks and took another person’s order who was next to us then went inside. That person and family got their order as well. Still no one took our drink orders yet. After 30-40 minutes my husband went to see what was going on and there was no one there. He was coming back to me when he saw the waitress walked past my table with me sitting at it and take orders from yet another family who just arrived and sat down right next to us…she went past a table with no drinks and menus down, clearly not yet served. We left after that. We did go a couple doors down and were seated and served immediately.

They let you bring your dog which is nice cause traveling with one is already challenging so letting our dog sit with us outside was much appreciated! Not only that but they brought a water bowl for her and even offered a special dish (chicken).

Great place for food and people watching as outdoor seating is next to shops and beach of Lake Geneva! They were honest about their kitchen being backed up, but we chose to sit, have drinks and wait it out. They were ready to take our order in 20 minutes and it was delicious! Shout out to the chefs! We’ve eaten twice there this summer on trips to Lake Geneva.
