I wasn’t fully prepared to have such an amazing cheesesteak in Berks county, but this new restaurant managed to knock it out of the park! The quality of meat & cheese on a fresh roll was phenomenal! The service was friendly and the place was very clean. I can’t wait to go back and try some other items from the menu.

So happy to finally have a good cheesesteak joint in Reading. The quality of the ribeye is TOP tier and the steaks are loaded with meat- definitely get what you pay for! I easily get 2 meals out of one steak. I love that the rolls come in fresh every morning. Quality ingredients make a world of a difference, and if you’re a foodie like me that’s what separates Spenny’s from other area cheesesteak places. That and the plentiful options on the menu- not just steaks but STUFFED hoagies with freshly sliced meat (my fav is the Italian on a seeded roll with sweet peppers,) and many fried apps (the chicken fingers and sweet potato waffle fries ) The shakes are thick and tasty but I can’t WAIT for the italian ice to come!! And let’s not forget about the customer service… Family owned and operated, you feel like part of the family walking in the door and are always greeted with a warm smile. Hard to come by these days!!! Will be supporting this amazing small business any chance I get Pictured is the 3rd degree with onions, my favorite!!!

The softest and freshest bread you’ll ever eat on a cheesesteak. I got the classic jawn with wiz and the hot honey. Man whom ever came up with the hot honey is a wizard perfectly sweet with enough seasoned meat on it to give it a bite!!!! Also it’s great a cheesesteak place takes credit cards and not the Cash only nonsense, the year is 2023 folks!!!!

We got to cheese steaks I got a chicken cheese steak and she got the penn cheese steak both were good. onion rings were good had some boom boom sauce with them believe me it has boom to it.customer service was awesome. Will be going back

My wife and I visited Spenny’s for the first time We ordered 2 Chicken Cheese Steaks they were awesome!!! I love the store if you’re a Philadelphia sports fan this is definitely the place for you. The owners are friendly and very nice they truly show they appreciate your business We will definitely be coming back again.
