I’m glad I was able to eat in this new restaurant. Mary & Reggie displayed great customer service skills and the food was great. They were so welcoming. I tried the shrimp & grits, catfish, and my friend had the chicken and waffles. I’m not a fan of the chicken & waffle combo, I have to say, after taking a taste of my friends, this place has truly changed my mind. I apologize I didn’t get the picture of the chicken and waffles..The flavor was amazing My new favorite place. I can’t wait to see you guys again. Keep up the great work..

This is a beautiful new local spot that everyone should check out! Very friendly and the food was excellent! Our order was served quickly too. I got the lemon pepper chicken & grits and my fiancé got the blackened fish & grits, and of course we tried the cornbread! The seasons and flavor were divine and everything was cooked perfectly. The grits were on point!! We will be back! You should go, right now!!

Surprised that I actually like the thighs with the chicken and waffles because I only like breast. Food was great along with the collard greens. Service on point and met the husband and wife owners. Great atmosphere. Go try them out.

This place is criminally underrated. Walking in at first I assumed this might be a little hole in the wall place, but was taken aback by the interior. The entire environment had an air of elegance to it. The staff held themselves in high regard and make you feel welcome the instant you walk in.

While trying to decide what to have for lunch and did a google search. Spice and Gravy popped up and had good reviews, so we decided to give it a try. The first thing that caught my eye was the great atmosphere. After debating over what to have off of the menu, I ordered the RGG (roast, greens, and grits. Also ordered was the chicken and waffle, and he said it was very good as well. The roast was tender and melt in your mouth delicious. The greens were flavorful, and grits were perfectly prepared and complimented the roast nicely. I will definitely return to gry some of the other delicious sounding foods from the menu. If they are all as good as the RGG, I will become a regular.

Just ate here for lunch and no joke was one of the best meals I’ve had in quite some time. I had the chicken & waffles and the chicken breading was full of flavor and the chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked. The waffle was thick, had a mild cinnamon flavor and was one of the best waffles I’ve ever had. Also split the brisket and mac rolls…which was so good. Also had the peach and bread pudding at the end of it all. Was so full by the end of it I’m pretty sure I’m going into a food coma, but I had to write this review, because this place is ridiculously good. It was all so good that my buddy who went with me told the chef that he wanted to hug her! Definitely going back and going to tell everyone about this place, because they deserve success!!!
