I was excited to give this modern Indian restaurant a try. When I arrived I found parking not too far. I walked in and was greeted. Akil, our server, walked my friend and I to our seats. The restaurant was so nicely decorated! It is BYOB fyi. Akil was super kind, and he started us with appetizers. I got the stuffed tikka chicken bao bun, and my friends got the crispy cauliflower. Both were absolutely delicious! The bao was super soft. We also had octopus, and it was delicious!

My first time there and it was such a great experience. Went to celebrate a birthday and all the food came over very delicious. The spice level and the flavors were just perfect. Our waiter Jim was very attentive and very professional. The staff overall was very pleasant and were on top of everything. Great service! Some must try vegetarian dishes were the crispy cauliflower, Malai Kofta and cottage cheese tikka masala. The garlic and butter naan were also very soft and flavorful. They all had such great flavors. Overall very happy with the food and service!

4/21/23 EDIT: I’m going to amend my original score, and go ahead give Spice Bazaar the 5th star. My wife and I just dined here again and we an excellent experience, probably the best we’ve had yet. We had our ten-month-old son with us and the staff couldn’t have been more gracious and helpful in getting him settled. The food was delicious; “crispy cauliflower” appetizer is going to be in our regular order going forward, lamb saag and a traditional butter chicken entree were both tender and flavorful. We’ll be back many times.

One of my favorite joints for Indian food in New Jersey. The fare is upscale and the prices reflect it, but they offer some truly unique and delicious Indo fusion dishes like sweet potato chaat and truffle mushroom ghee fry.

Popped in on a Friday early evening and was pleasantly surprised at how enhanced the ambiance is. I was expecting more home cooked, relaxed vibes. The staff was very attentive (always checked in, offered to go boxes, refilled water often). Because I went in thinking it was more casual I was a bit taken by the prices but they make sense for the style and most importantly, the quality and portions; both of which were satisfactory. My medium heat level was accurate. There are a few fusion items on the menu ie. bao buns, tacos, Portuguese style dish.
