I’m going say that if you order the oxtails, check your boxes before you leave because you are going to be real mad when you go to open that now almost $30 box of nothing and there’s hardly any meat. They gave me oxtails that we’re barely the size of half dollars . LITERALLY. All mainly fat and gristle. I mean, I get that prices are going up everywhere but dang, give me what I pay for. Their large is now equivalent to a small but they pack you up with rice to make it seem like the box is full. The jerked chicken does not have a good Jamaican authentic flavor. It just taste like sugar to me. D&H has great jerked chicken but not so great oxtails. The prices at Spice n Nice are going up while the food quantity and quality are going down. It’s also worth noting that Mac n cheese is only served on Fridays, which I think is dumb. The store closes very early and they stay running out of things. They are also not big on customer service. I never feel appreciated as a customer in there. And I don’t even know why they have a telephone because they NEVER EVER answer it. I wish another good Jamaican place that has great oxtails would open up in the area cause Spice n Nice getting a little too ahead of themselves. The picture attached is enlarged so you could see the size of the oxtails. They were so small that I had to zoom in. And you could see that they only give you a few pieces in the large, and they are from the thinnest point of the oxtail.

The size of these oxtails are ridiculous. I’ve never in my life had them this small!! Barely any meat. $30 is NOT worth it I should’ve looked at it before I left because I would’ve gave them this food right back. I was recommended to come to this place and I promise I will never go back. Horrible. Save your money

Came back for more!!!! Got to love rice and peas wasn’t to crazy about the jerk pork but I had to try it since Me love some pork but had the curry goat with rice and peas a must! This is my new local Jamaican food place wish they were open later but then again it’s DELAWARE!

Love coming here. Food is always delicious. I got the curry chicken large $17.25. Price went up. Plus a beef patty and coco bread. My son loves it. The container is normally packed but I’m still happy.

The food was great. I got a large jerk chicken with rice and peas. It tasted amazing and the portions are great it was spicy but not overly spicy. I wanted some oxtail but when I got there at 5 ish they had run out of everything, there was only jerk and curry chicken available and based on other reviews it usually happens. The place is clean but the people at the counter could use a bit more courtesy and manners. I will go back for more food

Finally!!!! I finally found a place that has some good oxtails!!! I went in and saw a bunch of people standing waiting for their food and more people kept coming in! I tried calling in my order but when I saw how busy they were I knew they didn’t have time to answer the phone. No big deal though, I was ok with waiting for my food. I got a large oxtail with rice and peas and cabbage. Everything was delicious, just like I knew it would be from the crowd! $23 for a large and I don’t mind paying that at all for a decent sized portion of really good food!! I’ll definitely be back!!

The food is tasty and flavorful. When they say large they mean it! There are not many Caribbean restaurants that i enjoy in DE ( I am from NY and I am a Haitian with high standards lol) this place i really enjoy their patties and ackee and Saltfish. Their fish dishes are tasty too. Just note: order early food goes fast here.
