This restaurant is superb in every way. It is a casual place but it’s still lively. We go here often and all the food items are good. This is definitely one of the best Indian restaurants locally.

Loved their biriyani. We have also tried Chilly chicken, Gobi Manchurian, and lamb kabobs. Except for lamb which was a little dry, others were good. The food is tasty.

Went an hour before they closed. It was great, it is a nice restaurant, convenient location. Staff welcomed me naturally and with care. They have vegetarian options, i chose sheesh kebab with basmati rice, it was tasty and spicy which i loved. It was good enough for 2 people . The location is clean and there are enough space to sit. It was some of the best Indian food i had in my life. Price was a bit steep but its the location so i understand, i wish healthy food was more affordable

Good fast Indian food. They have both bowl style and order style. South and north food. Their curry menu is unique and a must try. Bollywood ambiance.

We went here to get Dosas. We tried the rava onion masala dosa and vindaloo dosa. Vindaloo dosa was spicy and savory. Comes with Masala. Spicyness was perfect. Comes with 2 sauces and a curry. Rava onion masala dosa has cashew and onion. It was good too. Not the best dosas we have tasted. But did the job.

It was indeed a great experience overall. Literally made my day and will visit again for sure. I tried a vegetarian bowl with my wife and The lemon rice, chana masala, butter naan, and onion kulcha were amazing. Gulab Jamuns were awesome (3 pieces in one plate). It has South Indian options too like Dosa and Uthappam. Will definitely try something else later.

I was ignored at Spicelife Indian fare in Downtown Crown. Was it my imagination? No, this was my second trip there. I’m African American; the staff averted their eyes for almost 10 minutes. I thought that they were just busy. They were, but so are most restaurants. I asked an employee if I was standing in the wrong spot to give my order. She said yeah and pointed me to the register. Then a white guy walks in behind me and asks if I’ve been helped yet. I said no. A staffer immediately passed me and took his order. Wow! I found the employee who misdirected me and asked for an explanation. She frowns, looks at the floor, and walks away. To hell with Spicelife. They won’t get my money. I hope they get condemned.

Best feature about this place is that it attracts a healthy mix of South Asian and non-South Asian clientele. I mean that. They have a good variety of North & South Indian dishes, which is hard to do well.
