I’m going to keep this brief. This is hands down the best Chinese food I’ve had in the last few years. I was in town for the weekend and my parting lunch before heading home was with the bro-in-law. We ended up ordering the same entree, Braised Beef Brisket with noodles, plus one order each of steamed dumplings, fried dumplings, and chicken on a stick. The dumplings by themselves were pretty good, but that dipping sauce put them over the top. The chicken was that perfect crispyness and was mildly addictive. Our beef and noodle bowls were marked on the menu as spicy, and it was just slightly below manageable on my end. When I ran out of milk tea to keep my taste buds cooled off, a big glass of ice water was just the thing to help finish off the noodles. There will be plenty of future visits to Blacksburg and I’m definitely coming back to Spicity to explore more of the menu. I may have lied about keeping it brief.

Food was absolutely outstanding. Full of flavor. My only regret is not having enough money to try multiple dishes… but we will be back to see what other delights we can enjoy.

Place was lovely but I ordered the teriyaki frog and it came with the bones in it, I spent more time picking frog femurs out of my food than I did eating

A very nice and decent place for Szechuan food. The taste is great and the dining environment is awesome. The only shortcoming is that the portion size is small for the price. A bit costly but is a good place to invite guests for a Chinese dinner in the valley.

This place probably isn’t the best to take your toddlers, but they have amazing food. It’s expensive though, once a month kind of meal if you’re low income. $60-$70 for just three adults eating. They have lots of options though and it’s a lovely place

This restaurant is the absolute worst! They have zero professionalism. We waited for an entire hour after ordering, and when we inquired about our food, they kept saying it was “almost ready” twice. But guess what? After a full hour, the waiter finally tells us that the kitchen might have lost our order. They expect us to reorder and wait for another painful half hour, at least! We had enough and left the restaurant, and never going back again.

Had a great Pork and Garlic sauce, ordered kung pow chicken and it was horrifically bad. Well, the sauce was good, chicken good, but I think this was a mistake, there were burt whole peppercorns in my meal that would create an explosion of less than tasty flavor I was terribly disappointed. In my photos, you can see the black peppercorns, there were so many it was almost impossible to eat. What I had w/o peppercorns was great!

I had their Lazi ji. I couldn’t finish. It was poorly spiced popcorn chicken. Too much breading, all white meat, no bones. Shown is how it was and how it should be.

Update: I tried their dry pot chicken again and it was lit . It is my go to food most of the time now lol. I hope they will be consistence with their service. If you love hot spicy food also give a try to their spicy chicken. I love all dishes from this place
