You order by scanning the QR code therefore the servers don’t even ask for your order. They just bring water or hot tea at the table. The food doesn’t taste as good at all. I’ve had many authentic Chinese food and their food is not tasty at all. The rice is sold separately so when you order anything it doesn’t come with rice. The hot tea was warm not hot at all. My friend does not know how to use chopsticks so I asked for spoons and fork. The spoons and fork had greasy feel like it was stored in an open container collecting dust that resulted in the sticky feel to it. I tried to wipe with table napkin but was still gross. I just used my chopsticks. I was still at our table while my friend went to use their restroom and the guy already started busting our table without asking if we are finished eating or if we want to take any food to go. They didn’t do any customer service at all and yet when we paid the bill and didn’t add any tip on the receipt the cashier last forced us and insisted on tip. The cashier lady told the guy who already touched the last plate that had the beef broccoli that he was about to throw in dirty bin to put it back on our table because she is waiting for my friend who use the restroom and I to give tip first. They were very rude, shameless, unsanitary place to it. I can’t believe this place expect tip with poor customer service. The cashier lady probably thought I didn’t speak or understand Chinese just because I was speaking in another language with my friend. Too bad I understood what the cashier lady was saying. Lesson to all races, please don’t assume people don’t understand your language. Some people like me who are mixed race are multilingual. I will never eat again at this disgusting place.

Very authentic sichuan cuisine! The dishes are all flavorful and pair well with rice. Lots of classic dishes to choose from. The restaurant is a little crowded inside but the food is worth it. The duck is really good btw! 😉

Dan Dan Noodles, Chong Qing Spicy Noodles, Fried Chicken Cubes w. Hot Pepper, Chicken Fried Rice and fried shrimp were delicious. The service need improvement. They were slow to take order and the waitress doesn’t speak English which makes it difficult to ask them questions about the menu.

Really bad and slow service. Didn’t bring or offer water or drinks. Took about 15 mins to take our order. Didn’t bring silverware or soup bowls with our hotpot. They are very focused on their online and takeout orders and don’t seem to care about done in customers.

Was deciding between this and V Garden across the hall and chose this place instead. I knew I made a mistake once I sat down. I was forcing myself to try and like this place but just couldn’t do it. First off, the cups smelled, the lady who helped us didn’t speak any English which made it a little hard. One good thing about this place was the pictures included with every menu item. There were a lot of random entrees that you wouldn’t typically see (frog legs caught my eyes) so if you want to try that, this would be the place. The spicy beef soup we ordered was NOT EDIBLE! I mean I can handle spicy but this was on some other level. It was not spicy, however it was very oily, potent, tasted like chemicals, & I’m not even sure if it was supposed to be consumed. Took one sip of it and we were done. I’ve never been so disappointed in food before. Do yourself a favor and just walk across to V Garden. You can thank me later.

: 10/10: The Spicy Chong Qing in Kent is a haven for lovers of authentic Szechuan cuisine and it was an absolutely delightful experience for my taste buds. If you’re a fan of authentic Szechuan cuisine and crave bold, fiery flavors, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. But you must bring a Chinese friend or someone from China (ABC not included!) there so they know what’s best to order.

The spicy beef noodle soup is The BOMB! Fantastic! 90% true copy of the Sichuan noodle I have had there. Will be give 6 out of 5 just for that if I could! They are also speedy FAST at making the dishes after the order is placed. Like Dick’s burger kinda fast! Don’t know how they did it. Not really much service but who cares if their foos is so amazing! First time here, I’m hooked! The prices are incredible! I ordered way more than the two of us can finish and it’s about $50. The leftover is enough for another meal for us.

Rating for Chong Qing Style Fish, basically kind of boiling Tilapia fish in a large flat plate. A little bit overpriced (however all food price going up these days), $29.99 for basic, +$5 ($35 total, no reason for different fish sizes, in my opinion) for large fish. It was really really delicious, especially for whom from Szechuan China or like Chinese hot spicy food.
