DON’T RECOMMEND!!! Initially, we were told that we would be able to sit in 20 minutes, but we ended up waiting for an hour and a half before we were seated and able to place our order. Even after ordering, it took an additional half-hour before our food was served. Moreover, the food was too spicy for our taste, and we were unable to finish most of it. When we requested a box to take the leftovers home, the restaurant staff took away our large plates but returned with two very tiny boxes, I was certain that they had only given us less than half of our leftovers. Additionally, I experienced stomachache after having dinner there.

One of the best Mapo Tofu I have had – spicy and enriched sauce served with firm tofu and perfectly cooked ground pork. If you want to turn the spiciness level up, then you should try the Boiled Fish Fillet in Bell Pepper Sauce. However, the soup was not balanced properply – there was too much Bean Sprouts which overpowered its taste. We also tried the Salt & Pepper Pork Spareribs, which was tender and good, but could use less salt. Overall, we would go back here again and try other dishes.

The spicy pork ears are some of the best we’ve had, it’s bursting with flavor and very authentic. The spicy fish in soup was also very delicious. The hunan spicy meat fried rice has the flavor and essence of something that is wonderfully and rightfully fried. Every dish has their own unique amount of spice, but I would say it is definitely not for people who are unfamiliar with numbing spices. The beef tripe, pork blood, and spam with mixed vegetables comes in a huge quantity and is one of the spiciest I’ve ever had; definitely want to ask the chef to tone down the spice next time!

Authentic hunan cuisine, service is very quick and efficient. Prices are on the higher end of chinese restaurants in sac but the atmosphere is nice and have rare dishes like frog legs. We tried a stir fried lamb dish which was delicious but for $18.99, didn’t have much meat. Prices are raised ~$2 each item on the menu. The cauliflower smoked ham dry pot is delicious and smokey. Tendon was also delicious, but really salty. I would come back again, but prepare to spend ~$30 each person min to get the full experience. Also lots of spicy dishes for the spice lovers.

Not sure how nut allergy friendly this place is. I was thankful enough to go with a Chinese friend to communicate my allergy.

One of the weirdest experiences I’ve had at a restaurant in this area. The staff didn’t take our order for the longest time, when there were only 3 or 4 other tables with customers. There was a woman sitting at a table in front of us who was literally smoking a cigarette (the whole restaurant smelled like stale smoke). The food was okay – We got salt and pepper chicken that was way too salty, albeit, overall flavor was good and it was nice and crispy. We also got some shrimp fried rice; this was also okay, flavor was a bit lacking and it only had a few tiny pieces of shrimp in it.

Best Chinese food I’ve had in Sacramento! True to its name, the food can be spicy, and I’d order the spiciness level a step down than what you’re used to.

No joke, best Chinese food I have ever had as well. A lot of the same recipes as other good Chinese places but some of the plates that are on point are amazing. Love the levels of spice. I’m Mexican I love spicy but this is a different type of delicious tingling amazing spiciness. Can’t wait to go back and try more recipes! Shout out to Stanley excellent customer service.
