A small spot tucked into midtown. The Sichuan food here was delicious and flavorful. The 3 Flavor Pepper Chicken is one of their top sellers and is their version of Sichuan Mala Chicken – highly recommend. It came out piping hot, had great depth of flavor and spice (with a light dose of the lip numbing Szechuan peppercorns ). All of the food came out so fresh and fast. The crispy bottom bao was crisped very well and so hot – with soy sauce and chili oil had good flavor. Don’t sleep on the lo mein – I could eat that for a meal alone and be so happy.

Step aside Mala, Cooking Girl, and Pepper Twins. While I like each of those spots for different dishes, the 3 Flavor Pepper Chicken here is mind-blowingly great with the right crispiness to the chicken and a perfect hit of numbing heat. My vegetarian daughter loves the Mapo Tofu. The space is comfortable and clean and the service is always so sweet from the charming staff. Whether their overall menu is your favorite among the others places, who knows. But it seems hard to go wrong here.

We came here for a late lunch and thoroughly enjoyed some dishes. The cheese puff was the best we ever had, crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Perfect appetizer! Beijing pork was authentic, sweet with rich umami, goes well with cucumber. Maoxuewang, on the other side, was a bit disappointing as it tastes of nothing but spicy. Parking can be tricky but give it a try if you’re in the neighborhood.

This restaurant has some delicious options worth giving it a try. There is some street and garage parking in the area. It’s also close to one of the light rail stops. I was seated right away. The inside space was a good size. The server did a good job keeping up with all of the tables even though they got slammed while I was there. The spicy beef tendons (cold dish) was really tasty. I’d give the spicy cucumbers a pass. The french beans were limp (not crispy) and very disappointing. The highlight of the meal was the fish jump out of water dish. I highly recommend it. It was spicy and delicious. Next time, that will probably be the only thing I order. It’s big enough to share between 4 people easily. You are also given some complimentary dumplings if you order over $50 worth of food. I wasn’t super impressed with them. Overall, if you choose to visit, check be careful what you order so you don’t end up with subpar dishes.

I thought the dumplins and buns were good but didn’t wow me. Still a cute place and had plenty of seating available. Parking in the garage is free if you ask your server for a validation ticket.

* Food: The food was fairly good. My personal favorite was the Siu mai, pork w/ garlic sauce, and hot sour soup. The xaio long bao tasted ok but I wouldn’t come back and order it again. The steamed garlic bacon was an interesting appetizer but it just wasn’t my favorite and had an odd taste. I do think their lunch special is a great option if you’re wanting to try this place.

2nd time round and man they did not disappoint! Ordered the crispy bottom bao and 3 course Beijing duck! First off the service here could not be any better our server was so nice and extra attentive, she is honestly just the best at what she does! The crispy bottom baos were really delicious but what took it home was the pekking duck and soup they brought out! The 3 course meal can easily feed 4 people. I wish more people knew about this place cause they do deserve the business. Overall experience was 10/10

Food here is spicy and amazing and so full of flavor. We usually get a plate of something fried and then dip the fried protein in the broth or sauce from the other plates. Service is stellar.
