My favorite dish was the vegetarian dry pot – it was flavorful, and they put just the right amount of spice. It wasn’t too spicy or too mild – just the right combination. The eggplant dish was super delicious too, but it wasn’t the star of our meals. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for family gatherings and hanging out with friends.

Love the stone pot boiling fish here, its served hot pot style as you can order 2 meat and 2 vege included in the base price, the portion is huge for 2 person sharing. They don’t provide any dipping sauce for this dish unlike hot pot restaurant, but the food is tasty enough by itself. We came on a weekday evening 5pm it was not crowded and plenty of parking spots, unlike weekends where it’s really hard to find parking.

Szechuan chili peppers sets the tone for the fish broth (uses Swai fillets). In addition to selecting the chili level 0-5, there is also a “numbness” level 0-5. Large selection of other Szechuan cuisine dishes that needs a return visit

Me and my wife both got diarrhea after visiting this place, the spicy fish is not good, they use frozen sole fish and other ingredients with poor quality, I can do same with spicy fish seasoning from grocery store.

We tried Spicy Popo for dinner on a whim and it far exceeded our expectations. The dining area is really fun, warm and welcoming. We got sat quickly, served quickly and had almost no wait for the food. We got the spicy fish stew with added veggies and the fry pot cauliflower to share. It was all fresh and incredible with just the right amount of spicy. We will be coming back many times.

Had a pretty good experience as a first timer here. Service was really attentive and fast. We sat down immediately. The wait time for the house special pot of fish took quite some time, but after it came we were all satisfied. The flavors of the dishes were very authentic and the quantity was large. We will come back again.

Walked passed it after visiting Asian Family Market on a Friday night. Quite a busy place and I decided to look up the menu online. Menu was convincing me enough to go inside and try it! Besides I have been craving for Hot Pot that doesn’t break the bank and enough for two people. Waited for about 15-20 minutes for our table to be ready, but it was definitely worth it. The picture of the food says it all. I love spicy food, so I did pick spicy and numbing szechuan fish with beef, lamb, napa, mushroom. Absolutely delicious! The waiter was tentative and friendly, check up on us. We were able to bring home the leftover, thank goodness!! Ended up spending about $50 for 2 people with that hot pot option. I definitely absolutely recommend this place for couples or two people that would love to have hot pot with fish base and doesn’t want to break the bank and don’t like to waste lots of leftovers.

Been here twice, Food is tasty, the prices are pricey. Expect to pay at least $30/person here. In-person, the fried Rice itself is over $14 and the 石锅 (stonepot) starting as $39.99 as of May, 2022. Great use of spice, and very aromatic, delicious. There’s for sure Sichuan Peppercorn, so be careful when eating from the soup pot. The spot is pretty Lit too (Literally). There’s a 10% discount if you pay with cash, so if that make sense for you, do it!
