The customer service here has been great from the bartenders upstairs to the cooks down in the restaurant. Even the security assists with what people need. Seems a great team effort all the way around. I appreciate the respect and kindness given by all I have met there. (I am using my boyfriends page at the moment to write this) I went in last to have a quick drink and the bartender was very rude. Bald guy with beard I ordered a captain and coke. He said 9 dollars in which I was shocked that a single captain was nine dollars as if it were top shelf, I had 8 dollars in my hand and said I only have 8 so let me go out to my car and get more money he responded and said you can just leave. I was in utter shock but I could tell from his unfriendly demeanor from the moment I walked in this wasn’t a welcoming atmosphere. It was actually my first time downtown and it will be my last for sure. Not my cup of tea. It’s actually ironic that I also bartend for a living and the majority of the job requires you to interact with guests and make them feel welcome and inviting so maybe you should get a job in the avenue of not dealing with guests because you come across miserable

My husband and I came in Tuesday and ordered the taco special for the day. We come here often for the lunch specials because the deals are just too good. When we got our tacos it was the most flavorful, so much toppings and you can definitely taste the love. Theresa was are waitress and she bent over backwards to make sure the service was great. I ordered a steak and cheese sub with fries and they made fresh Mac n cheese for my daughter, which she loved. The food tasted good and the service was excellent. The food had generous portions. We enjoyed it thoroughly. We will go back.

Downstairs, Jessie was the best!! Upstairs, everything went sideways. Bartender refused to serve. Bartender cited amount of shots served with no idea of how many patrons were being served from said shots….. no other reason cited. Then displayed poor attitude when tip not given after literally no service was provided. ~ will not return OR suggest others to return.

Spirits is easily my favorite bar in downtown Fredericksburg by a long shot. I usually stop in at least 4 times a week mainly because the exceptional staff is so friendly and fun to be around and all my friends always end up on the back patio hanging out having an awesome time. I’ve met some awesome homies here that I will be friends for life with. I really enjoy smoking on their patio seating in the back, dancing on the 3rd floor on Friday & Saturday nights, the pool tables and slot & arcade machines are a nice touch, and the main bar is very cozy with multiple tvs to watch and zone out to while drinking a pint. I’m going to be 100% and say I’ve never eaten food here but that’s not usually why I’m stopping by. If you’re reading this far I would highly suggest giving Spirits a visit and please be extra nice to the bouncers and and tip the bartenders well cause they’re all really sweet and genuinely kind and caring individuals.

This is really a hidden gem of Fredericksburg. The prices are very low for restaurants in Fredericksburg and the portions are very generous. The waitress was very attentive, even as they started to get busy. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quick bite and some amazing food. The Gyro was delicious!

I love the coziness of this restaurant. When I go downtown for shopping, I like to stop here for lunch. Customer service is always friendly and professional. The burgers are exceptional and their fries are always crispy which I love. Their pizza is also really good. You can’t go wrong no matter what you decide to order. My friends and I went here a lot when I was much younger.
