Excellent food with friendly and knowledgeable service. Our previous dining experiences at other restaurants in PG have been hit or miss (regardless of price) so we arrived at this restaurant somewhat jaded. However, our expectations were exceeded and we will definitely return next time we are in the area. It’s the kind of place where you can tell the chef and waitstaff are very invested in the quality of the food. Everything with duck was excellent and the other seafood etc dishes were superb as well.

This place was amazing! We got the mushroom risotto and the rock cod, cooked to perfection. Also got the polenta cake + berries for dessert, it was exquisite. Would highly recommend!!

My wife and I love Spotted Duck! Owners Gail and Jerry couldn’t be more welcoming and gracious; the food is excellent; the prices reasonable given the quality; and the service from Nick (and Gail) is warm, knowledgeable, accommodating and fast! If you love scallops, be sure to order them–they’re wonderfully prepared. Such a pleasant–yet casual and unpretentious–dining experience.

If you add service, food, taste, view, amenities and then include presentation and creativity, you not only get a triple A plus, but rapture as well. My friend had the duck. I had the chicken. And we shared crispy brussels sprouts, salad and a scintillating chocolate dessert. Superb would be a misdemeanor, as all was far more than that.
