I had a lunch meeting here and the food was delicious, we all enjoyed our meal. I got ahead of myself and started eating my delicious burger once it hit the table, that’s why I have a picture of a half eaten burger. The homemade chips were a bit salty but very tasty and crunchy. My burger was juicy and cooked to my liking.

I wasn’t too surprised to hear that Spread was closing shortly after I visited for the first time. The prices were expected, but food level didn’t match up. The best thing offered was the focaccia. Perhaps our server knew the end was near, as there were several mistakes made without much acknowledgement. Hopefully something else will be offered soon as options in the treasure Valley are pretty limited.

First of all I want to say the food was good! I ordered a steak kabob and the rice that came with it was delicious too. Both the waitress and the hostess were nice. However, like the other reviews, the food and drinks are overpriced. And somehow the kitchen got backed up. I feel like the kitchen shouldn’t be backed up when they’ve already opened for 6 months. I waited for an hour to get my food while the others who came after me were enjoying their appetizers. It might be a good place to hang out after work and get some light dinner aka appetizers. Hopefully the management will improve their work flow. It’d love to see some improvements so they could stick around.

This is a great place that is a little more upscale than people are used to in this area. Nicely decorated in a minimalist rustic way, it was very cozy! We went for a special occasion and were delightfully surprised when they comped us a desert! The dinner itself was great with coconut shrimp to start. They cooked them perfectly which is tough to do, a little less time you get uncooked and a little more time and you get rubber, compliments to the chef for hitting that perfect zone. You can tell the quality of the kitchen staff by how well they are able to cook seafood and this staff gets high marks! The highlight of the meal was the chicken pesto pasta. Wonderfully done and it looked great. The shrimp po boy sliders were awesome, again with the shrimp done perfectly but this time in a cornmeal batter and a wonderful sauce. My wife had the steak salad and at first thought they had skimped on the steak but to her surprise found they had layered it throughout the salad, a great touch as most places just throw it on top. The only things I could find wrong were the herb fries needed a touch more salt and there was no sweetener offered for the ice tea. The waitstaff was the greatest though, being very attentive. This is the place to go for a fine meal in the Ontario area now and O town will need to seriously step up it’s game to even be in the same league as Spread!!

This is the best restaurant this side of Idaho by far. Service was quick, drinks were amazing, food spectacular, service was spot on and friendly. Fine dining at it’s best. The waitress was nice. You could tell she was new, but she was nice. The food was…iffy. Proportions are not large and, frankly, over priced for the caliber of food . Feels like the owners want it to be an upscale place but sadly, misses the mark due primarily to the lack of choices and mediocre food. Atmosphere is noisy but open. Wine selection is good but again, over priced. Would be a great place to meet your girl friends after work for wine and appetizers.

Our first time and we were treated to a Valentine Special menu. All of the food was amazing! From the presentation, combination, quality, value and taste Spread has it all. They were slammed for Valentine’s so the service was a bit off but the food more than made up for it.
